Spindly legs carried him swiftly in the direction of the ocean. He couldn't quite decide what sent him trotting off this way, but the young man took a moment to appreciate the... lack of weight he now felt on his shoulders. It was refreshing to wander without worry, without feeling like he was looking for something. He did remain near his family's lands, not leaving this time but rather searching for a nice place to relax.

Ears the color of snow would swivel left and right as he picked up the sound of waves and sped up his trot to go see the rocky beach and glittering waters. Soon enough he reached a spot where he could see it, and he had to brace his legs a bit as a chilly wind came blowing in off the water, pushing him back half a step and ruffling his fur. It might not be a perfectly peaceful spot, yet it was lovely. Eagerly the boy trotted down a slope towards the sand, grinning when he felt it squish between his paws. He set off meandering closer to the foam covered shoreline, occasionally peering into pools of smelly salt water that seemed to be teeming with small aquatic creatures.

"Ooooooh look at this, Abby," she said as she peered into one of the little tide pools, watching all the little creatures curiously. Her cardinal friend hopped up from her shoulders along the back of her neck so that she could look over the top of Roza's head to see what was so interesting. "Don't go sticking your nose in that, a crab might pinch it." Roza smiled a little and rolled her eyes. Abby was more like a parent than a friend sometimes. She took her advice though and took a step back from the pool of saltwater. "Yes ma'am," she added with a giggle. She lifted her head as Abby shifted back down to settle on her shoulders once more, looking around at the shore line around her. She knew her father didn't like it when they wandered very far from home, but it wasn't like she had gone that far and she wanted to explore a bit now that she was feeling 100% better. Her ears perked when she caught another wolf's scent on the breeze, barely catching it over the strong scent of salt around her. She looked down the shore line and spotted a tan and white boy further down the shore and she watched him curiously for a moment before padding closer to him. She didn't get to meet strangers very often! And he didn't look too dangerous. "Hello!" she called with a smile when she got close enough for him to hear her, her tail wagging lightly behind her. Abby peeked around Roza's neck to see who she was talking to, the bird watching the boy closely.
