The sun was halfway through its downward arc when Pyralis returned to her densite with the form of the yearling she'd beaten hanging limply from her jaws. The fading light cast an intense red and orange glow along the canyon walls and she dimly wondered how her family had done with baby-sitting the whelps. She dropped the yearling femme at the edge of the cave then peered inside to see both her babes sleeping soundly. Nodding her approval she headed down to the stream to wash up. She wasn't worried about the yearling in the slightest. Even if she did wake up before Pyralis returned there was no harm that would befall the pups. For one thing her family was nearby but the main reason was the kindness in the girls eyes. Pyralis knew immediately that the girl would never harm a pup, even if she deemed the mother wicked. It was always easy to tell the sentimental types. As she trotted down to the trickle of water that made up the stream she failed to notice her dear offspring starting to stir… "Talk" "You" Think |
Please note that Pyralis is a ghost. It is up to you to decide what level your chars can see/hear her. She was killed by having her throat ripped apart. At times the wound may be visible and be actively bleeding.
