Pyre padded into the cave that opened up onto the beach with curiosity. The sun was high in the sky and he had just set off on the day's adventures a few hours before. His stomach was starting to growl though so some food was definitely next on the agenda. He could smell the fish as he padded further into the cave so perhaps his little adventure could turn out a little more productive than he had imagined. His steps slowed a bit while he looked around at the walls of the cave to take in the sparkling stones that seemed to be everywhere. He was actually surprised at how bright it was in here. How was so much light getting in this cave? Before he had a chance to really consider it to glanced down and spotted a couple of fish laying on the ground. They seemed pretty fresh still when he walked over to one of them and sniffed across its scales. He glanced around, wondering if someone had put them here since he didn't know how they would get here otherwise. Not seeing anyone or smelling anyone else's scents he settled down on his stomach and dug into his surprise meal. Well at least he didn't have to go searching for food today!

Lykos eyed the cave warily. Should he go in? Should he not? His nose told him someone was already in there - another wolf, but if that wolf proved to be hostile, fighitng in such a cave would be quite difficult. At the same time, the scent on this wolf was fresh, and it didn't overlap any old scents. It was clearly the first tiem this wolf had come here, like him. Ah, well, might as well then. He stepped into the cave carefully, blinking rapidly as his eyes adjusted to the light inside the cave. It was still surprisingly bright all the way through, and the deeper he went, the brighter it got, and the more fish-smelling it got. It kept sloping further into the ground, as well, which made it even more a mystery on how it was so bright in there... and also how the sparkling rainbow-like stones existed. He stopped only when he reached the end of the cave - and found the other wolf, as well. "Greetings," he murmured to the bright red wolf. Was he mildly perturbed by a neon wolf? Just a bit, yeah. Was he showing it? Hell no.

Pyre's ears perked as a voice caught his attention from somewhere behind him and he turned his head to look back over his shoulder as he licked his lips to clean up the bits of fish that were stuck there. The man was a fair big taller and probably older than he was - not that Pyre really cared. "Hey," he said simply. It didn't look like the other man was hostile in any way so he wasn't worried about it. "Help yourself to some-"

In the middle of his sentence the cave suddenly began to get more dim and he pulled himself up onto his haunches as he glanced around to figure out why. His gaze landed on the opening above them where the light was streaming in through and he could see the sunlight beginning to shift out of view. "Huh. Well maybe we should head back toward the entrance before it gets too dark in here. The fish are free game if you want one!" He grabbed the one he had been eating on and got up, trotting past the man to head back the way he came.
