For a good day or two Faine had found herself wandering around and meeting strange wolves. Not that they were strange, well… Some of them were actually, but strangers, basically. Wolves she had never seen before, and most of them seemed to be quite nice if she had to be honest. Alarik was very kind, Pyralis she was slightly apprehensive about but she was still pretty cool, and that one wolf who she healed at Talis borders was… Alright, other than the fact that he constantly spoke his mind without a care. Now though, she actually on a planned trip. No more wandering, hopefully, she wouldn’t run into some stranger brute who would flirt with her again. It was nice and all but she didn’t understand it, she didn’t hate herself but she didn’t think of herself as somebody extremely special. All the attention that was given to her was strange, and she just wanted to focus on trying to actually do something for Talis and scout out these resources. And luckily, this time she wasn’t travelling alone. Kharnage was with her! Which was nice because she hoped on growing closer to him now that they had the time. The whole scene with him becoming a wolf full of rage hadn’t quite left her mind but maybe it wouldn’t hurt to ask about it. Maybe he needed to talk about it, and she’d gladly listen to if he wanted. But for now, they would enter a wooded area that seemed a little unsettling. Her eyes narrowing and she flicked her tail, “This place gives me a weird feeling,” she said. Walk, "Talk" Think |

Kharnage had been in an increasingly restless mood since the meeting. He was still holding out hope that they would still go on a raid, but Gryphon's words had clearly left their mark. It irritated him to no end at what he'd said and the way he'd spoken towards Dragon, as if he were an idiot. If he'd been in Dragon's place he would have ensured he wouldn't have spoken out of turn like that ever again. Of course he wasn't the alpha so he'd done his best to lay low since then and wait to see if they were going to leave. He'd promised Faine he would go with her to scout the lands once more for resources so the idea helped keep him distracted. The only conclusion he could think of was that Lykos had tainted Gryphon. He'd poisoned his mind and made him a traitor just like him. Kharnage had never had any qualms with Gryphon until now. Maybe it was time to talk to Dragon to see what could be done. How long would it be until Gryphon managed to taint others minds? What if more started to turn on Dragon? No, now was the time to set an example before others got the idea to tear the pack apart from the inside. Thoughts of what needed to be done had been shoved aside when he'd left with Faine. Eventually they came to a wooded area and his ear flicked towards Faine at her comment. He glanced around for a moment and, try as he might, he couldn't pick up on the same feeling. It just seemed like woods to him. Maybe a little dark and creepy to others, but he found he didn't mind it. "I'm sure it'll be fine. It's just a forest, right?" Walk, "Talk" Think |
