Her goal in the north was finding her companion. Nyko was around here somewhere, though whether he was in the North or some other area had yet to be seen. She'd keep searching, and she wouldn't stop until she found him. She came upon a sight she had never seen before. Of all the traveling her and Nyko did, never had she seen this. She looked up with wide eyes, neck craning up as she looked at the trees rise up way into the sky. The trees here were huge! And she wondered if this is the biggest that trees got, or if there were bigger ones somewhere. She grew mildly excited, the tiny woman striding forward to find a lower branch to hop up on. If Nyko wasn't here, it was okay. She could surely find a way to entertain herself until they found each other again, so she'd take to climbing the trees here.
Luckily for her, climbing was easy with her disability. At least, here it was. She felt a little more free, a little more normal, a little less...useless. The higher she went, the better she felt. She felt like a bird in the trees, certainly small enough to be one, and sometimes she wished she were a bird. After a good bit of climbing, she was a good few yards above the snowy ground, her chest heaved with the efforts of climbing, but boy did her adrenaline feel good. Being so high up and being able to see the world in a different view was exhilarating! She flopped down on her belly atop a wide branch, head resting against the cool wood and just...sat and thought. |
