Of course Devin had no made a huge impact on the pack. He hid like he usually did trying to avoid any social contact. And yet it was up to him to marry the two king and queen of the land. Of course Devin wasn't entirely keen on love and the like, but he knew enough that when the queen requested his presence to marry them he would be there. The male would stand there and raise his head up in a call, a que for the pair themselves as well.

The joining of hearts should be beautiful, but Devin was not a prancing pony. He looked constantly deprived of sleep which didn't help. Yet the stoic man waited patiently. To get this over with and get on with his life. He probably needed to interact more though. Otherwise he'd be doing Bevroren a disservice.

The call rang out loud and clear, although Haruka was already there. She was the creeper of Bevroren, always lingering within the shadows. Her tiny form pulled out of her hiding spot now though, giving the larger male a wide berth. She was still rather unsure of the rather grumpy male, he looked more like a warrior than a healer to her, which left her senses reeling. But this was no time to study others, for Athena was getting married. In her maw Haruka was holding a bundle of wild flowers that she had picked, even the cold Northern lands supplied some beautiful things. She looked around for Athena, meaning to give these to her as a gift. For now they were held gently within her jaws, her breath ruffling the delicate pedals that sat not too far from her mouth. She seemed to be the first to arrive, which was not all that surprising to her. She seemed to be the first to come to most pack occasions, her shadowy hiding spots came in handy most of the time.

The melanistic boy had been away of his half-sibling?s union. It was hard to miss. He was glad they had found something together? regardless he didn?t feel particularly close to either of them. Vereux had after all been the one to insinuate that he owed Isardis anything, a notion that still struck the boy as odd. Clearly they had had two very different childhoods. Regardless he would rise at an unfamiliar summons. He knew well enough what it meant and he knew he would be expected to show, he was family after all. Still the black boy wasn?t all that eager to move out into the open, hovering at the edge of the pines, ebony gaze passing over two figures he did not recognize.

A wedding. Talvi had never witnessed nor heard of one previously. Athena and Vereux's romance however was perhaps the only one she had seen occurring around her in her year and a half of life, certainly the only successful one. Sendoa and Isardis romance had gone rather wrong during the albino king's illness and there had been some spark evidently lingering between he and Argent. Relationships weren't a thing that the blue and silver girl could even pretend to understand at the present. All she could do it seemed was turn up and watch, be a part of the joyful occasion as her siblings celebrated their love.

That was just what the Leraar would do now as she joined the little gathering. Only a few had showed up so far there was evidently still plenty of time to arrive however, for neither half of the happy couple had arrived just yet. Patiently and silently she would find herself a place to settle until something began.

She had heard rumors from her Aunt Sibelle that Athena was going to get married. Her nosy nature -- covered by her beautiful essence -- drove her towards the pack lands of Bevroren. Pandora daintily crossed its borders without waiting for an escort. Even though she had heard the rumors, Athena had invited her to visit whenever she had time. Pandora had time and it was convenient as well.
As she walked through the snow, she looked around at the frosty atmosphere. Everything was covered in white and the low temperature made her skin prickle with delight. The snow stuck to her lower legs, of which she shook off with almost every step she made. Even though the settings were nice, she still didn't like having the snow cling to her perfectly groomed fur.
Her vibrant form appeared around the border of the ceremony, but only temporarily hid beneath a tree. She looked at the few wolves that had appeared, and immediately noticed Tavi. A smile appeared on her beautiful face and she boldly left her hiding place to plant herself next to Talvi's left hip. Turquoise eyes twinkled slyly as she met her sister's gaze. If anyone questioned her presence, Pandora would simply say that her aunt had invited her. Plain and simple.

Athena had been waiting for this day with anticipation, nervousness, and just a touch of uncertainty. She still wasn't entirely convinced that getting married at just a year old was a good idea, but Vereux had been so excited that she couldn't tell him no. She just kept reminding herself of how much she loved him and the wise words that Dhirin had told her when they had spoken a few weeks ago. When Devin's howl reached her ears she rose to her paws and took in a deep breath to calm herself. Shaking out her silver coat so it laid neatly along her body and glancing down at the golden bracelets around her legs to make sure that they were free of any dirt, she decided she was finally ready and trotted off to find Devin and the others that might have come to see the permanent joining of her and her brother.

When she arrived she was surprised by how many had already arrived. She didn't think that it had taken her long to get here, but she had been a fair distance from where Devin had chosen to call the ceremony. She padded over to the healer first, telling him softly, "Thank you for doing this," knowing that this sort of thing wasn't exactly his cup of tea. Turning her gaze toward those gathered, she was happy to see that Haruka and Talvi were both present. The third woman surprised her, but it was easy to remember who she was, even if it had been almost a whole season since she had seen her last. She went over to Talvi, giving her closest half-sister a smile before glancing to Pandora. "Pandora, this is a surprise. I'm glad you came. We'll have to catch up later." Her gaze found Kyung's dark form in the trees, glad to see that he had shown up but curious as to why he didn't come forward to join the crowd. Going over to where Haruka sat, Athena chuckled at the flowers that were in her jaws. "Those are lovely."

Once she had greeted everyone that had arrived, she went back to Devin, taking her place to his right with a sigh, settling on her haunches. There was a whole list of wolves that she wished was here, but she knew all too well how few of those wolves would actually appear. Most of the wolves the missed hadn't been seen in months anyway, why would they suddenly reappear for her wedding? She curled her tail around her haunches to wait for her groom to arrive, trying her best to settle her nerves as she did it.

Being the last one to arrive to his own wedding seemed a little embarrassing. Of course he had thought about being so young as well, but they would be two years old soon. And deep down inside a piece of his father was yelling at him to claim his woman as his before she went off and got stolen by someone who just happened to be better. It wasn't that he didn't trust her, no he loved her, and he didn't want the world to end up tearing them apart. His whole existence was reliant on her affection for him entirely at this point. He was not a strong man, he only seemed strong, acted strong, for everyone else and her own well being. But ultimately he wanted his gene's to be passed on without a fight, if things got iffy between them he was prepared to sit down and work it out. The boy threw those thoughts away as he walker upon the scene greeting the others with a expressionless dip of his head.
His green eye scanned over Athena, giving her a sheepish smile before his attention turned to Devin. He mouthed his thanks before settling with Athena in the front of him. He was ready for this to get underway, this kingdom was his legacy. Passed down to them from their father, Isardis was probably laughing where-ever he was right now, but Vereux didn't care. His bones ached to have the two of them prove their father wrong.

Bevroren was so strange compared to her former home which had been so isolated. She had met more relatives, though none since her and her mother had joined at the borders. She gave a small smile when she had heard on the wind that there was a wedding between Athena and Vereux. She'd never met the groom but she did know that the bride was her aunt or something like that. She never really know who was her aunt or uncle but she had found it safe to assume that if they carried the last name Armada, they were children of Isardis so she considered them all aunts or uncles unless proven otherwise. As she ventured, she thought about how much she missed her lousy father. So he might have just abandoned Arietta and herself but he was still her father by birth.

Wow her thoughts were rambled. The white Armada pressed forward, arriving to watch the ceremony. She would sit towards the back, hoping that she would not be interrupting the ceremony. Her golden eyes would stare at the three wolves in the front. She gave them both a small smile, something she rarely did because she often found herself wound up, trying to be serious and strict. Nevertheless, it was a cause for celebration, her aunt was getting married.

Acceptance. The thought of it filled her both with relief and a bit of nervousness. Arietta had not lied when she said she would do all she could to become an asset to the pack, to sharpen her skills and prove her worth. Her greatest joy, however, was Vesta could now get the training and interaction she deserved. The small woman had been willing to give up everything for her daughter to be happy; Vesta meant the world to her. She might worry, as a mother would, but Arietta would never want to hold her daughter back from achieving her goals and dreams. After coming to Bevroren she felt the weight on her shoulders lifted, and she felt as though she would be able to move on with her life.

But she was surprised in hearing about the wedding. It would be a joyous thing, however, the joining of two soulmates as they stood together through good and bad, regardless of what the world threw at them. Arietta would rise from the den, telling Arietta she was going, and left the decision to her daughter if she wanted to come with her or not. Vesta was old enough to make such a decision on her own, wasn?t she? Of course. Arietta would give her daughter a bit more space, but that didn?t mean she wouldn?t watch out for her and care for her.

As the brown woman arrived there would be someone who captured her attention almost immediately. Not because she knew her, but because this woman was pretty much as small as she was. She held in her mouth some flowers, which she assumed was for the bride. Arietta would also spy Talvi, a woman she knew at least somewhat now, and two males whose names she did not know, as well as a female. The King and Queen were there too, the ones getting married together it seemed. Bright blue gaze would shift to her daughter, who arrived just a bit before her. Ah the energy of youth. The woman would move to her daughter?s side and give her a smile, but was otherwise quiet.

Ah, the queens apology made his heart sink a little. Putting the male in a position that he was glad he hadn't rejected. It was his duty he supposed, he just hadn't seen many weddings even in his lifetime. Once everyone had settled and the couple was here he cleared his throat and stood up. Tail flicking behind him as he spoke. "Thank you all for coming, this time is for celebration. For a celebration of love and passion between two hearts. Right now it matters not what problems are within their hearts, it's the promises they will be holding for the rest of their lives." He started and nodded his head to Athena and vereux to face each other.

"Athena, do you promise to have and to hold vereux in sickness and in health" he turned to vereux "vereux do you promise to have and to hold Athena in sickness and in health" Devin would wait for them to respond before he dipped his head. "Then with your eternal vows, your love your hearts. I now say you are bound to each other. Man and wife." Devin would finish the ceremony with that pulling his nose over Athena and then vereux like a tap on their heads with his snout. He stepped down and watched them wondering if after this they would all just scatter.
