The gentleman had sought to leave his pack to visit yet another. The meeting with Voltage of Donostrea had gone well, and now Allen decided this time he would go to see one of the packs they had worked alongside when Ebony had gone to war against Arcanum. The man would breathe in slowly, his dark gaze focused on what was ahead. Fiori was the pack that he was running to... a place that he knew little of. He wasn't sure what the leader was like, though he had caught her name as Epiphron. She seemed like a strong, intelligent woman... but what she thought of Abaven he couldn't be too sure.

Allen would slow as he neared the borders, the scent growing stronger here. He didn't think that she would be as inviting into her home as Voltage had been, though he was thankful for the younger man's openness. The calico gentleman would come to a stop, scenting the breeze. Yes... this was definitely the lands of Epiphron. Tilting his head back he would let out a polite call for the woman. She was more than welcome to come at her leisure. Upon finishing Allen would take a seat. All that was left was for her to arrive.

The sound of a stranger's call, ringing across the lands, was something growing quite familiar to her. It seemed that the surrounding packs grew interested in the presence of other packs, wanting to know what they stood for, who ruled them, and if they were a threat or not. Swiftly she would move to the borders, interested in who had arrived here and what pack they might represent. Their tone held an air of importance that she could recognize, so it was without a doubt that this was some high-ranked pack wolf.

Hadn't she met him at the meeting that Ebony had called, before the siege? Curious, she dipped her head lightly in greeting, her tail curling instinctively behind her back. A gentle smile painted her feminine features as she acknowledged him, noting that he certainly had been one of the wolves at that pre-siege meeting. "You are... of Abaven?" she'd question gently, somewhat sympathetic that she did not know his name, but certain he was of that pack, as Kassander had said so. "I'm Epiphron Adravendi. Welcome to Fiori."

The leader of Fiori would come, and Allen would dip his head respectfully to the other woman. She was closer in age to him, a leader who was also aging, but still strong. Her words would come forth, and Allen would give a slow, sure nod. “Yes ma’am. That’s correct.” Epiphron yes, that was her name. The alphess of Fiori. The gentleman would straighten some, letting his dark gaze meet her bright one.

“Thank you, madam Adravendi. I am Allen Walker, Azgrat of Abaven. I’m Bass’ new secondary.” He would give his own greeting to her. “I was wondering if I might be able to steal a moment of your time. Perhaps to speak of our two packs. I know that we were both allies of Kassander of Ebony, but much more than that I do not know.” The aging man would tip his head forward again. “That is... If you do not mind of course.”

Epiphron's expression was guarded yet curious as she looked upon the stranger that had called her, content to see another wolf of power that was closer to her age than to her childrens' - not that it was a bad thing to see younger wolves ruling. They were, after all, the future. But it was comforting still and she found her posture relax as she regarded Allen with her inquisitive blue stare, dipping her head to him as he introduced himself. He was of Abaven, and his name was Allen. He ruled alongside Bass. He'd heard his name before, and had seen the Destruction wolf at the meeting that Kassander had called, but she knew little else of him. Her limited experience with the wolves of Destruction ancestry was mostly confined to the wolves of Threar and the family they had left in Fiori. She couldn't help but feel they were a bit cowardly, though this was a thought she had shared with no one else. Perhaps this Bass was different, as he obviously didn't live with the rest of the Destructions in Threar for one reason or another.

Her tail would flick behind her, a motion of pleasure, as she took a few steps closer to him. Epiphron would step over the marked scent borders of her home, meeting him on neutral ground. "Of course," she'd gladly agree when he said he wanted to speak. "I'll admit I know little of Abaven," the Sovereign would tell him with a tilt of her head to the side, wondering what sort of information he might offer her. "I'd be thrilled to learn more about this pack of yours."

Epiphron knew little of Abaven, just as he knew little of Fiori. It was wonderful that they were able to speak on like levels, and the man would continue to speak, though this time about the pack which he ruled with his dear friend.

“Abaven was founded and lead primarily by my friend, Bass Destruction. The pack is a lawful good pack, focusing on surviving and helping other strive as well. We seek to help others, but only if the cause is just. In return seek favors that can benefit our own members such as healing for members who need it and so on. Overall, it a rather peaceful pack.” Allen would finish speaking, tipping his head.

“Where my Fiori stand, miss Epiphron?”

Though her stance and expression were far from threatening, she was certainly guarded. She knew little of Abaven. The fact that Kassander had trusted them as an ally during the siege spoke volumes, though she was unwilling to trust them blindly, not without speaking to this Allen fellow first. It seemed Abaven was a quite peaceful pack, though one detail intrigued her.

"And you two rule together?" she would probe, merely curious. In reality, it was refreshing to see a pack ruled by two wolves other than a mate pair. Her eyes glimmered with interest. "And how does your pack measure justice, Allen?" Another question, spoken merely out of curiosity. Who had the right to claim they enforce justice? She'd asked Kassander the same question, and though she'd been impressed by his passion and his perseverance, she hadn't been entirely sold on his idea of justice. "Is it something you and Bass decide?" There was no hint of malice in her inquiry -- only gentle, probing curiosity and a fierce desire to understand Abaven if she wished to ally with them or not.

Allen would give a nod. “Yes, indeed we do.” His voice was gentle. “It is a more recent arrangement that we are ruling together, though in the past Bass has passed judgment over what is right and what is wrong.” Allen would answer honestly to Epiphron, speaking in a calm tone. “However since I have stepped up we’ve done things together, even in overseeing the joining of other wolves.” The gentleman would tip his head.

“It is rarely a rushed decision. There has been but one incident I can recall since joining with Bass that such a decision was made in haste, and I am sure it will be righted.” Allen would let his gaze lift to her eyes. “What of you, Epiphron? Does Fiori’s justice system hang by your voice alone, or is it a group effort?”

It was quite interesting to hear of a pack run by two men. Two non-mates, it seemed. It was.. slightly less familiar to her than the traditional pairing of a Alpha couple and she was intrigued by it. Her own secondary would likely be the same though, as she had no plans of finding a mate in the near future.

The talk of justice was something that was much less impressive to her. What was justice, really? Who decided what was just? Was there eve really a clear line between good and bad, between right and wrong? Slowly, she shook her head. "Justice is subjective," she explained conversationally, offering her point of view briefly. It was one thing to say what was good for the pack, or for an individual.. but justice wasn't something she necessarily felt needed to be dealt. "Though I certainly intend for Fiori to be run by group decision. I have no interest in being a sole ruler."
