Now that Isardis was gone, and she was pregnant with his children, she saw no reason to stay in Bevroren, not while her best friend had just gotten her own pack to lead. She had been in Glaciem since she had been claimed by the man, and had helped his daughter get on her feet even though he hadn't asked her to. It was safe to say her work in Glaciem/Bevroren was done. Athena was more than ready to lead her throne, she didn't need her guidance anymore. Hopefully she would see these as good enough reasons for her leaving, and allow her to leave without a fight. At Liberty's call Athena immediately pulled herself to her paws and trotted off to answer it. Liberty had been one of the very few wolves who had stood by her side through the epidemic, through Isardis causing disruptions and leaving with some of her members. Liberty was really one of the few wolves that Athena respected and considered a friend. That's why as she hurried to find the monochromatic fea she had no reason to expect the news that Liberty was actually going to deliver.
