She spun away from the meeting, tears falling down her face. She didn't even stay to talk to Piper about training, she would find her younger sister later. For now she just needed to get away, to hide from all of her problems. She let out a broken sob, picking up the pace until she was racing through the damp stalks of grass. They made her coat wet as she sought to lose herself in the maze off tall grass, running until she tripped over her own paws. Falling to the wet ground, she just curled up into a ball. Yes, she was being a sad, sad soul. She knew she needed to pick herself up and move on, but she couldn't. Her mother needed to be there for her, she needed to hold her when she was broken and bruised. She was so close to her, or at least she had been. She was nothing without her family, and it upset her that her mother just kept walking in and out of her life. She didn't know what to hold on to anymore. Civetta circled above her head, unsure if she should settle and help her friend, or let her cry alone. Chirping softly to let her know that she was here, she settled close by on a small branch. Beady eyes were on the young woman's form, a little sigh leaving her beak.

>>He waited a little longer to leave the meeting, while finch among others had left. He wanted to talk to Bass, but after seeing Finch run from the meeting upset, he got up and followed at a slower pace. Her scent was easy to track, the fox followed it through the tall grass, her scent clinging to the plants. He hoped she was okay, and while he didn't know the past history of her mother's coming and going, he knew she was upset about her showing up to the meeting.

It didn't take long for him to find her curled up and crying, and when he looked around he saw Civetta perched nearby. Frowning, the male moved closer until he was sitting next to her, crimson eyes worried. "Finch? Please don't cry." He whispered, curling his tail towards her to lightly brush her side. It was the first time he'd seen her cry, and he didn't know what to really do except sit there and wait for her.

She sniffled, rubbing her face on her leg. She tried to stop crying, she was on a mission to be stronger anyways! She was so focused on that that she didn't even hear Dart come up to her, not until he spoke. She jumped slightly, slowly looking up and blinking her misted eyes. A flash heat rushed to her cheeks at Dart seeing her cry, that strange feeling stirring in her belly again. His bushy tail brushed against her and she shivered slightly, ears pressing flat against her skull at this odd emotion. She had no idea what this was all about, but the young woman was glad that it was the fox who had come to see her. She lightly bumped her shoulder against him, sniffling once more. "I just feel so lost, Dart. She was gone through everything, and I just..." she broke off, turning away and looking up at Civetta in the tree. Her bird friend let out a soft tweet, hopping further down the branch. She gave the two canids room though, her wings folding at her sides. Finch let out a shuttering sigh, her head tipping down towards the ground. There was a whole whirlwind of emotions in her and she didn't know what was up or down anymore. She just felt so utterly... well, lost.
