Dagger was feeling rather useless at the moment. He'd been placed as an apprentice, which bothered him slightly, but he understood it. He just wanted to be placed as a Legionary but instead he now needed a mentor. He didn't even know anyone so who did he want to Mentor him. Surreal just had a litter and past that... well he had no earthly clue. He wanted to figure it out though. He wanted to do things! He'd spent so long traveling that he was used to doing things. He didn't like sitting around doing nothing.

With nothing better to do he decided to go clear out his den some more. It was getting colder and he wanted to make it bigger before the dirt got too hard for him to be able to clear it easily. He had pretty big paws so he was sure he could get it done in a reasonable amount of time. It was large enough right now that he could duck to get inside and then sleep in it somewhat comfortable but it wasn't large enough for anyone but him and he wanted more space. Not that he expected to be sharing it with anyone any time soon, but he wanted more room regardless.

So he set upon his den with a fierceness. It was nice to feel like he was doing something productive. He'd dug for a straight hour before he finally sat back to finish his handiwork. He was completely covered with dirt and clods of it hung from the longer parts of his chest. He didn't care that he'd gotten dirty and the more that he stared at his den the more he was proud of it. It looked pretty good if he did say so himself.

She was missing her close family, her mother and father and siblings. She had wondered if eventually they would make there way here She felt the need to spend some time with her brother. She was a hoping they could do something productive and perhaps work on their skills together. Both of them were gonna need as much help as they could. She was pretty sure she would be going more for a hunting rank, but without experimenting with the other ranks she would never know what was her calling. She definitely knew that fighting was out, she was not a fighter. Although she did need to learn the basics so she could protect herself from harm.

She wondered if Dagger knew what route he would be taking in the pack. She wanted to find out, she also wanted to be sure he was fully settled and was doing well so far. Leaving her den she trotted over to the last place she saw Dagger settling into. It wasn't that far so it didn't take her long to see his large black form setting outside of the den. The smell of fresh moist earth hit her nose and though his pelt hid it well she could see the dirt plastered to his fur. He must have been doing some finishing work to his den. Coming up beside him she lightly bumped into his shoulder before looking to the large entrance of the den.

"Doing some finishing touches?" she asked.
