Castiel had risen that clear, crisp winter morning with his duty in mind. He had yet to test against Regulus for his Legionary spar but there was another duty within the pack that he was still to work upon; training Dagger in the art of fighting. The younger wolf was family, though a bit more distantly related than Surreal and Falk’s children were to him. Everything, Castiel thought, would mesh together in time. Things were slowly starting to come together... He just needed to be more patient.
Castiel traveled from the plains off to the lake. He wasn’t sure where the younger wolf would be at this time, if he’d even gotten into the habit of rising early from his den, but Castiel saw no reason to rush things. They could get to know each other a bit first before they got into the task of training. Socializing was a part of pack life, was it not? So might as well take out two birds with one stone! Castiel tilted his head back, calling to his pupil; It was time to begin. "Speak" |
