It was about time for the pack to come together as one, there had been a few changes and a few wolves who had gone missing. He needed to be sure that everyone was on the same page, that everyone was in this for the long run. They were getting close to holding as many wolves as their territory would allow, and he didn't want to turn members away because there were other wolves in his rank that didn't want to even be here. Letting out a soft huff, he walked to his den and jumped upon the top of it, the flat rock warm already from the sun. The sound of the lake surrounded him, and he took a moment to sit in the silence. It would soon he broken by a group of wolves, so he took a moment to let it sink in.

Tipping back his head, he let out a howl to summon all of Abaven, urgency in his vocals. Members who did not show up to this meeting would no longer be considered a part of the pack, he had to tighten up the rules if he wanted his pack to remain active and working. Resting his head back down, he awaited the members to start showing up.

Unfortunately, Wren had been eating a little snack near her den when Bass had summoned the pack to him. It sounded serious...important. And it was really agonizing to leave her food that tasted so dearly. But she had to. So, flicking at the half-eaten carcass of her lunch, the young dame would sit up and make her way toward Bass's den, emerald eyes full of curiosity. But a little part of her was almost concerned. Why had Bass been so urgent with his call? Was something wrong? Did one of his members betray him...? It was all a mystery...and it was life-sucking to know that she wouldn't find out until Bass began talking.
Wren arrived at his den within no time, and instead of leaping up beside him to greet him and show him affection, she sat down before his den and stared up at his bold frame. Again, the woman knew that pestering the man was a definite no no. Her mind always refreshed itself when she approached him...don't act like he was her little doll. Don't always run up and squeeze him to death every day. Just let things flow...act like he was her king. Though...at the same time, she wanted to treat him like her friend. Her best friend.

Nona was minding her own business at the moment exploring the lands that belonged to Abaven, her new home. She heard the summons though and it carried with it the sound of utmost importance which of course snagged her attention as she quickly shifted her weight to run towards where the sound came from. The fae was moving at a fast pace in hopes to make it in decent time as she came across where Bass was. The brute was there, Bass she recalled the one who gave her a home here in Abaven. Nona shown a smile to him and her lips parted "Good day, Bass, you called?" the fae bowed her head to the Azat.

She felt a little nervous since she didn't really know anyone else in the pack besides Bass but the fae felt that it was a feeling that would soon come to pass over time when she got to meet everyone. This was probably something that would've happened sooner or later and she was glad that she could be apart of it. Nona took her place in front of Bass with a good bit of distance between her and the brute. Nona was truly curious about what the summons was about but was sure Bass would explain what was going on for him to have called for the pack like that however she wasn't sure who this other person was who also came.

She hadn't been as active as she wished for the past few weeks, and the Tagavor was anxious to step it up. Perhaps after this meeting, she could hold a Kruni and Vor training, so her apprentices could know that she was not dead. A howl would ring across the Abaven lands as the tempest would slither from her den, stretching first before approaching the source of the call, nuzzling her brother gently. "I am sorry I have not been active lately... I promise I'll begin to work more when this meeting is over..." A gentle nip of his ear was sent his way and the mocha cloaked tempest would smile, gently backing away and sitting next to her newest apprentice, Nona. "Hello Nona." A gentle smile would come upon inky lips as she curled her pearly banner about pristine white paws, mocha cap turning high in the direction of the leader of Abaven, awaiting what he had to say.

Bass seemed to like putting Motif forward for duties, through not only didn't mind, but loved it. He had set her up as guard for Vendetta, give her duties as his second and put her name forward for Cru's use within his pack. She had been over there the last few days and had met Ahmose and Cru and organised a way to start the training ? which hadn't yet happened. Last she heard Cru was waiting for Ahmose to be prepared to call it which he hadn't yet done. So things where quite for once today and she had some free time. The day would find her doing exercises by the rapids, stretching her muscles and thinking about the spars she had been in so far.

She was just finishing and settling herself down when the call of Bass rang out. She would get up, shake out her coat and start a light trot in his direction. He hadn't had a chance to let Motif know about the meeting, what with the extra duties she had been out and about on - but she could totally fake it.

She strolled into the meeting and set herself up beside Bass, ready to agree with whatever he had to say and put forth anything he wanted her to ? she was here, quite literally, to make his life easier and make sure his pack worked. She was his sister and she would give bass the world if he so desired it, there was perhaps a touch of favouritism in her loving of Bass, but he was also the brother she knew best in her family.

Time seemed to pass by all to quickly. Time in which one could never get back from it's death. Each second, moment, could never be returned to the living to be experienced all over again. Her desires begged to be known to all the world whilst she tried so hard to appear kind. Kind in which consumed the souls of most of her surrounding brothers and sisters of Abaven. Though, this kind did not embrace her own. She yearned to taste the virgin blood of the women who called this place home. Her heart mourned to take the innocence of the men who tread upon these lands. She longed to see the females awe in her presence. To envy her. But, these feelings must be pushed aside. Tamed. For now - though, a lioness could only pretend to be tame for so long before a monster consumed her flesh.

A howl broke the silence. Bass - the young king would summon them all to his presence. For what? It was unknown, but the song seemed urgent. And so her stilts would carry her in the direction of the eerie sound. To the master's den in which he stood upon it's stone roof. The galactic female stood further back than the rest - watching, observing each and every one of them without speaking a single syllable. Yes. She would observe them quietly as if they were all sleeping babes, resting peacefully while dreams took over their minds. Dreams in which would all be forgotten - just as a moment in time.

ooc: I'm having this set after the rank challenge so the results are just kept vague in this post.
Quelt had been through a lot, like a hurtling tornado he had been pulled through it. The strong brute had only proved his worth even more, and even more so as he led the young pups towards Bass. They were growing, growing every day and now they were actually getting a sense of worth in themselves. Of course the children had grown through a lot but Quelt was hoping all of them would stay on the right path or at least stay away from the darker ones because of their pain. With their adopted mother Irune busy, it had been up to him and Allen to take care of the pups since Emma went off and left. Which was one thing that he probably loathed her for now.
Standing near Bass though, the man gave a short smile before settling down. The pups could gather around him, or sit where they saw fit. He wasn't going to restrict them so much anymore with their growing bodies. Hell, at this point they could start training. They were not a year old yet, but they could hunt small animals on their own and mimic that of other wolves of what they did.

He slept soundlessly in the midst of his home, curled up on a bit of moss he'd collected from the shores of the river. The lanky male was deep in slumber. Since his promotion, Xae had immersed himself in the knowledge of healing. For once, it was not only because of his desperate need to know things. It was also for the sake of impressing one of the first females he'd ever met upon entering Abaven's territory. In his knowledge-seeking, Xae had come to terms with his feelings, which had only recently been very confusing. He was in love with Harmony. In fact, he truly believed that he loved the mocha-and-cream fae the moment his grey eyes had been set upon her. While he'd met other females who were beautiful, eye-catching, even, none had yet to compare to Abaven's Tagavor. Of course, Xae had also come to terms that his feelings would never be returned. It was quite clear to the young Vor that Harmony was not interested in becoming his, and though it hurt him quite deeply, he would not force her nor would he chase her. Xae was not interested in either option, for they would surely only cause harm to Harmony, and the russet male loved the light female enough to keep his feelings from her. If she did not care to be his, then Xae would only wish that whoever she did choose, was a worthy mate for such a queen. As long as Harmony was happy, Xae was happy. Or at least, he could pretend to be happy.

In the midst of his dreams - which involved frolicking and teaching and learning with a certain Destruction fae - a sound entered. For a moment, the call mingled with his dream, changed. The call seemed to become higher-pitched, more female than male. Harmony's song. The urgency, the importance behind the call, softened considerably. In his half-dreaming state, Xae imagined Harmony singing to him a song of love. The almost suddenness of the declaration is what ultimately brought the leggy male to the waking world. His entire body buzzed, heart pounding. The scents of field mice and long grass faded to a much more moist, tree and earthly scent. The sun no longer shimmered brilliantly and warmed his fur. Grey eyes looked around for a moment, before shutting tightly, desiring to bring the dream back. As he continued to awaken, it became clear that it was not Harmony's voice he'd heard, but Bass's. Slowly, the softness of the song became sharper, and the Vor could now hear the importance that lie in the summons. He couldn't help but sigh as he pushed himself to his charcoal paws. Harmony had not sung her love to him. Not even in his dreams, for it was not Harmony's call that had interrupted his sleep. Xae shook his head harshly to chase the remnants of the dream from his mind, and then shook his entire body, shaking out the disappointment from the ends of his long coat. Xae lowered his body just enough for him to slither between the slender opening of his tree-den. He glanced around briefly before turning in the direction that seemed to have the strongest smell. Xae followed his nose as it guided him to the group.

Almost immediately, he noticed Harmony, and the song that his sleep had made up came back to his mind. He was quick to shove the tune violently down, and he turned away from her to look around the pack. He was not the last, he felt certain of that, though there were more wolves that had arrived here than Xae had hoped. He wanted to prove himself to Bass, and he doubted that arriving just in the nick of time would earn him any brownie points. Nevertheless, Xae chose not to dwell on that. He was here now, before the meeting officially started, and that was the important thing. His grey gaze swung finally to Bass as Xae sat down, off to the left side of the group, close enough that he would easily hear Bass unless those around him talked too loudly.

Aiko was heading to another clan meeting. She was so excited because she loved seeing all the other wolves. It always amazed her how many showed up and even closer when she realized these were like a family to her. Aiko wanted to get there as fast as she could.

?Hey uncle Alan, can we please hurry up?? Aiko grew impatient quickly and decided to run ahead. ?Uncle, I?m going on ahead I wanna see everyone.? Aiko took off and ran to where the meeting was happening. It wasn?t long til she was surrounded by the wolves she knew as her family.

Aiko had her energy back. Her innocence and her natural sweetness. It was a blessing for sure to see the child back to herself, running around with a smile despite losing both her mother and father. Allen was having a hard time keeping up with the girl, but luckily for him Quelt was able to help with the other siblings. It seemed Aiko was most attached to him, but she saw all of Abaven as her family. An extended family of multiple mothers and fathers, uncles and aunts, brothers and sisters... Innocence. The brute would let out a soft chuckle as the girl got fed up with his pace and hurried on ahead. Bless her soul, the little thing. He would watch her race ahead before picking up his speed some, coming in at a small trot behind her.

A nod of respect was giving to Bass as Allen entered, then he would search for Quelt and Irune. Seeing the blue coated male nearby Allen would drift close, giving a hello before searching for Aiko again. Gaze would sparkle as he tried to creep up behind her, giving a gentle nudge to her shoulder. "What do you think? Is our family growing bigger?" He would ask her. Sure not everyone had come yet, but Allen was sure more would come soon enough. Ears would perk some, waiting for the meeting to either begin or others to show that he might get the chance to say hello to.

The pup followed behind the others and kept his eyes on Quelt half the time as he came up beside his sister. They were growing older, and as they did Levi could feel that he was different, but he didn't know how or why so he hadn't said anything about it. Recently they had lost Irune, and he liked her, so somehow he expected to feel sad, but he didn't. Which was rather curious to him but he let the thought settle in his brain as he came to settle beside his adopted father and uncle snuggling up to Quelt slightly.
"Be careful Aiko, don't get hurt." Levi said in a feigned worried tone. Well maybe it was real, but it was more out of concern of Quelt's reaction or Allen's if she were to get hurt. He didn't understand himself sometimes. But his attention turned back up to Bass. That was the alpha right? He remembered him from when he watched his dad fall off a cliff.

Perhaps once Quintus would've viewed a pack meeting with a dull sense of dread, but now he almost found himself eager for it. Excitement was a rare trait for the young man and he wasn't sure quite how to take his own sudden joy. He couldn't quite pinpoint the source of his enthusiasm but he found a slight hop to his step and a goofy grin tugging at his lips, threatening to erupt on his boyish features.

The expression faded slightly as he made his way toward the gathering. Bass hadn't exactly been impressed with him the last time they had met, and he knew his presence had been scarce at best. Lips would purse as he silent sauntered toward Harmony, coming to rest near her -- for she was the only one he knew well here. "Hey," he spoke to her under his breath, a simple greeting for a simple man. "Any idea what this is about?"

ooc: Mess with her and I'll kill you. :]

Curiosity had taken over Pandora's mind. After meeting the white-pelted man with the design upon his face, she had become interested about his pack. More than likely, she was interested in his title and power. A wicked smile crossed her pretty features as she imagined how much of a stronghold he had upon his members. Quite frankly, she was a little turned on.
The cobalt babe followed Bass to his pack lands, but didn't consider stalking across the territory. She had had her fair share of run-ins before, considering she also got laid her first time entering Covari. A tender smile replaced the wicked one as she thought of Scorpion. Maybe someday...when he was in power again. She pushed the thought of the untitled man out of her head and proceeded to walk around the borders, pondering how big the pack lands were. And - quite frankly - where was Bass in all of it?
Her question was answered when she heard his call. Turquoise eyes shimmered at the sound and she was tempted to walk across the borders. Instead, she walked around the other side, trying to pinpoint the location of his howl. In no time, she caught his scent among others and her tail slowly wagged. He was there, but she couldn't get to him. Oh, what was she to do?!
A soft whimper escaped her lips and she then lowered herself to the ground beneath a nearby pine. The summer heat was going to eat her up if she didn't do anything about it. Ears perked for anything said over the wind, hoping to catch the general idea of the meeting. Pandora was only a few meters from where Bass sat and she then wondered if he would realize how close she was.

It had taken Ixionn a little while to get up and notice that Bass had called a meeting. It sounded entirely urgent...but the man was exhausted. And his little den was so...comfy. Warm. Entering a crowd of many numbers didn't sound to satisfying. After all, a little part of heart still rejected Abaven. Yes it was his home. But was it truly where the boy belonged? - The young warrior slowly lifted onto his long limbs, flexing his toes and curling his spine, only to extend it.
While doing so his jaws would split and a yawn would break into the air. And with one final stretch, he stood and made his way toward Bass' den, growling softly with annoyance to the massive crowd of wolves.
The boy shoved through until he reached the back, where he would sit and stare up at his brother...up on the rock? With Quelt? Ixionn found this bitterly ridiculous. The man wasn't ready to think so highly of himself. No, he wasn't a prince. He wasn't a heir. The boy was ordinary. And while he still held the rank of a pup, he would act like it. No matter Quelt was beta or not.

Serra would move almost lethargically when the call came, in no particular rush to answer her Azat's summons. She would answer, of course, and answer on time, but what was the point in being early? It would only waste her time with pleasantries that she was not sure she felt like exchanging at that moment. Hey, a girl was allowed to have an antisocial day or two. And with thoughts of Newol on her brain, Serra Arrow found herself content to spend time with only her thoughts for company. At the moment, they were moving quickly enough that she doubted she would be able to keep up another conversation.

Her legs carried her smoothly across the ground, and even with Serra moving on autopilot she reached the gathering of wolves before much time had passed. Automatically, the wolfess settled down beside her brother, flashing him a swift smile. In the aftermath of the challenge for Irune - which had Serra had heard about, despite not being present for - she felt a strange sense of pity for him. He had always been the stronger one of the two, but to lose someone that one cared for so strongly could not be easy. Serra could only compare it to losing him and that had driven her all but crazy.

Save for the smile, however, Serra focused her attention on Bass, waiting patiently to see what the male would say. Her questions about Quelt's current state would have to wait until later - now was not the time or the place for such things.

Mira was just a teeny bit late. Not much, but everyone else had showed up before her. She had been hunting a little snack when the call sounded; she was really, really hungry and she wasn't going to give up. Sadly, though, the rabbit fled as it heard the howl, and soon darted down its howl, much to the displeasure of Mira. She had cursed quite a bit before she turned to lope towards the meeting, and now she was at the meeting, slinking in after thirteen wolves. Oops. Well, she wouldn't get in trouble - she arrived before Bass started speaking.

She didn't feel guilty, anymore, for her disappearance for a few weeks. Actually, no, that was a lie. She felt guilty but it wasn't as pressing, it wasn't torturing her like it was before. She felt bad, but now she was back, and Vendetta had disappeared and as long as she kept her guard up and did her duty everything would be alright. Or so she hoped. Mira nodded to all the wolves as she trotted nearer to her alpha, sitting down near her charge, Harmony. Mira twisted her head to {attempt} push her muzzle in Harmony's fur briefly, tail thumping on the earth in a cheerful greeting.

For once, Mira was composed, relaxed, and satisfied.

She hadn't been in the pack for very long, only enough time to know basically where everything was and to have conversed with her siblings enough to get the basic story behind Abaven's creation. Still, she was rather proud that her brother had made such a name for himself, surely all of Alacritia knew her litter mate now. She'd smile slyly as her chocolate paws carried her closer to the meeting, the call had found her ears rather easily.
She would come into the clearing, her bright blue and purple eyes taking in the gathered pack members. Eventually she might know them all, but already she could see faces she recognized from her first moments within the pack. She'd nod to those she had spoken to, but in the end would find herself by Motif's side. Her almost twin was a comfort to have beside her.

The Black beauty had came to her re gain some strength within the matter of weeks thanks to the healing and generosity she was showed by the pack most importantly Xae. She Awoke fairly late in the day much to her surprise considering that normally she would be awakened by Xae in the early morning. Blinking the sleep from her orbs she glanced around the den she was provided with, wondering were the male had ventured off to. The howl soon was audible in her ears the sound of it causing the black female to tiled her head slightly.Although she never really had meet anyone yet the sound of the howl she knew came from Bass, the other male that had helped her from her sticky situation. From the howl she gathered that there was a meeting of sorts occurring and so she soon stumbled to stand upon her limbs.

She wasn't sure if she was permitted to join the gathering of wolves but she wished to speak with bass to personally thank him for everything and so with this decision the female set off at a steady pass? as she did not want to place more strain of her frame . It took a bit of time but she finally arrived, her honey coated orbs scanned the area to gaze upon the wolves that were present, seeing so many faces it caused a scene of nervousness to emerge from the pit of her tummy.

Lowering her ears to rest on her skull, a low whimper vibrated in her vocal cords before it was muffled by her jaws clamping shut. Much to her relive she spotted Xae and so quickly scurried over to his side hopping she did not cause a distraction.

Esperanza would wake from her sleep when she could hear the sound of her superior's howl. Her emerald eyes would slowly reveal themselves when she stood up slowly and looked to her belly. It had extended steadily, and she wondered where Chrono was for she had not seen him in a while. She would yawn slightly and slowly walked through the land of Abaven to the meeting place.

Once she reached the meeting, she bowed her head respectively to the alpha and the other higher ranks and lied down, "Pardon my tardiness, but every day I feel like gravity is hurting me when these pups are inside of me," she whimpered when she thought that she would get a good yelling from the alpha, but the dame stood straight when she lied down and watched the meeting, sometimes taking glances of her belly and thought about her pups.

The male had been hunting in the fields for something to bring home when he heard the cry of Bass, his new king. He laid to the ground a moment, before raising to his feet and slowly making his way to the source of the call.

When he arrived, many of the pack wolves had come rather quickly to the call. Which was completely okay for him because he didn't like to be the first one there; but he may have been the last. His mis-matched orbs searched for his lover, and gave a smile when he spotted her laying down. He walked to her and laid his paw gently over hers, smiling at her for a moment before raising his head and looking to his superiors, the smile still put to his maw.
