Cascade was blithely unaffected by the strangeness in the atmosphere. Not unaware, but unaffected. She had been faced with enough fearful, strange and wicked things - chiefly among them her abusive, cruel, insane littermates - that the spookiness in this particular land just wasn't enough to shake her. She found a curious interest in the creepy bone-like trees, though, and she bounced through with bright eyes until she found the stone circle.

Her pace slowed, suddenly mesmerized by the odd glow of the spring the stones circled. What was that? She found herself drawn to it, stared into the glowing, swirling depths. Was that Neios she saw there? Nausica? Mother? For a moment she thought she saw the movement of something huge in the depths of the pool, and her pelt twitched in an atavistic reaction. No, that was stupid. It was just her own reflection distorted by the weird glow. She wasn't seeing anything or anyone other than herself. It was an easy enough mistake to make, she insisted uneasily, and stubbornly, to herself. After all, they all looked fairly similar, though Cascade was built along much more delicate lines than her mother and littermates. And if there was something moving in there, well it was just a fish obviously, and the glowing water just made the shadow look bigger.
Cascade's "baby daddy" (Valentine) and her children (Angelus, Seraphim, Evangeline, and Chaos) are allowed in any of her threads, regardless of whether or not they are marked private. Because they are all special rays of sunshine.

Trick

Cascade gets a trick!

While staring into the water, something seemed to move below the surface. A trick of the shadows, surely, until... a small snapping-turtle surfaces in the spring, scrambling up and lunging at the leaning wolf at aiming to latch onto her nose! Cascade gets a bad event!
