You would have thought that he'd be as far away from the north as possible by now. To be honest, now that it was getting colder, he couldn't quite bring himself to leave it. Originally he'd decided he wanted to explore everything, but he soon realized that the north had plenty of places to explore that he hadn't yet seen. There was only one territory that was in the north that he couldn't. It was where pack had laid claim to a land on a beach and he honestly didn't feel like he was missing too much. There was too many other sights to see. The north was already becoming chilly rapidly. Snow was falling in places and a good mood overcame him. His thick coat was built for more icy weather and he didn't feel like going back down to a more southern region where it'd be warmer. Especially not when he still had so many sights to discover here. It was a bit of a downer without anyone to keep him company, but he tried not to admit that to himself too often. Instead he delved into a cave today. It was noon and he'd recently come across the opening. It smelled like most caves did - damp and it was dark. His eyes adjusted eventually as he picked his way through it. He wasn't sure what he was going to find, but he was just glad it wasn't like the mines back in Ivalice. Those had gotten boring super fast. Occasionally he came across drop offs, steep declines, and other tricky parts that he could barely navigate. He hugged close to a wall and was almost certain he was going to be too large to walk across the narrow walkway. Eventually he made it and the path narrowed before forking off in two directions.
