Though Poser had been here once before, this place was largely unexplored in his eyes. It was fantastic, lovely, and everything he'd wanted. Everything that reminded him of home. An ache resonated deep in his chest as he moved across the ground, head held lower than usual. Things had been so empty lately, as it grew colder. As everything grew colder, it seemed to lose it's meaning. And in his mind, he could see Jett. Up ahead, the lab romped and played about in the street. How they loved racing each other on pavement. Poser would let him win like this for a little while, and then turn on the after burners and catch right up. It was more fun when he almost let the man win, and decided on a tie instead. That was the way they were, that was why they were so fantastic together... back in the day. Back when they were in love. Back before he'd lost the first man that made him feel right and good and whole. That was the best part of it all, you see. Feeling whole. Across the ground, the borzoi seemed to dance.
