Gettin' Spookd

Sparrow was a good distance away from her home land, but she knew she would just go back soon anyway. She enjoyed her little escapes, however. She wanted to be able to go home and enjoy her time at home, but she just didn't anymore. The small girl climbed through the darkness, finding herself going deeper in her adventure than initially planned. The lower she climbed, the darker the cave became. Slowly- and at first Sparrow thought her eyes must be tricking her- she came upon light. The source of the light turned out to be the fungi that grew in the mossy cavern. Surely this couldn't be natural.
Sparrow was tempted to pick one to show her family, but soon decided it was probably better to keep the glowing plants away from any mucus membrane. Maybe Aunt Harmony would come with her next time? Maybe she could even bring her father? Memorized, Sparrow wandered slowly, carefully inspecting the strange plants.

Trick
Sparrow gets a Trick!
The mushrooms give off a soft comforting glow and yet there's an eerie tension in the air. A low rumbling is heard from farther back in the cave followed by the shuffling of feet. Soon a small black bear that was taking refuge in the cave emerges. It spies the wolf and instantly becomes hostile. With a loud echoing roar it charges at Sparrow!Sparrow gets a negative event!

Through the calming glow, sparrow could feel the air thicken. It took a moment, but she realized; she wasn't alone. Her ears pricked forward, straining to hear what she could not see. There was a rumble, then the moves of shuffling feet. Sparrow braced herself, quickly throwing up her defenses. Before the small wolf had time to flee, a bear appeared out of the darkness.
Sparrow backed away, tucking her ears to protect them from harm while scrunching her neck to limit the availability to it. She rolled her shoulders to move the fat around her neck to protect it. Her eyes squinted and her muzzle wrinkled to deflect any attacks at her face. She grounded herself, balancing her weight evenly for stability and dug her nails into the ground for traction. The girl kept her knees bent slightly to allow her freedom to move if needed. Her tail tucked to cover her soft underbelly and her hackles sprung out to make her look bigger and to try to cushion any attacks to her back.
She waited then, still, to see if the bear would make a move or if it would see she wasn't a threat and pass her by. It wasn't even hibernating season!
