She shivered a little as a particularly chilly gust of wind hit her and ruffled her fur. She was quite ready for it to not be winter any more! Piper was determined to get out and do something today though since it wasn't raining or snowing and from what she could tell from the clouds it was going to be a fairly clear day - other than the wind. She could deal with a little wind though surely. Piper made her way toward the border, ducking her head against the wind occasionally. It calmed down a bit from time to time, but it still felt awfully strong! How did patrols work exactly? She stopped at the border and looked around for a moment. She knew her father did them and had spotted him in the middle of one on occasion, but she could do them too, right? Wasn't that part of her job now? Finch hadn't really elaborated about all that just yet, but she really wanted to help out more. Feeling a bit awkward and unsure, Piper started making her way around the edge of the pack. Was this all it was? Maybe she was supposed to be looking for something? Deciding that was probably what it was she perked up her ears to listen for any sign of someone approaching and she peered out at the lands that bordered Abaven curiously. |
