Busy, busy, busy. Spring was her most busiest time and she absolutely loved it. Now that she was a full blown mender she had much work to do and had to help get the herb den stocked up for them to have on hand. She also had to gather extra since Kara would be starting to trade with other packs. She had a lot to do and so much more traveling to do in the east. It was early afternoon and the young women had spent the morning digging up herbs to take back to the pack. Two different plants she had been hunting for and have gotten a big pile of each. She had already made one trip back to the pack lands with one of her piles. Now she had to get the other pile back to the pack lands. He watched her from a distance in a state of curiosity that was unusual for the man. At first he mistook her for some kind of unusually large bird, and it wasn’t until she stood downwind that he realized she was a wolf. Her markings were strange to him to say the least and he wondered if perhaps it was war paint, not unlike the kind Clout Rube decorated his finest soldiers with. He approached her cautiously, head low and barked a greeting as he descended the small slope toward her. “Greetings.” He called, moving toward her at a faster pace now that he had made himself known. The closer he got the more he realized the markings were in fact part of her pelt, a curious thing for the man who had been used to steel grey wolves, but he supposed the wolves of this land were simply different from the ones he had left behind.
