He had gotten rather sidetracked and it made him feel rather horrible. He had told Star that he wanted to finish exploring the south then he would come to this pack she was living in. Well Let's just say he had a little trouble with his direction and had mistakenly headed east instead of west. He had moved all over the east in search of her scent and found that it wasn't there. So he backtracked to where they had met in the south then headed west from there. The male really didn't want to admit he had gotten lost, but he knew this stuff happened when you traveled through new lands. It took him a couple of days before the tall hunter found an old trail of hers and began to fallow it.

His tall form moved forward with ease his nose to the ground fallowing the trail he had been on. His pace slowed as the trail mixed in with the trails from others. He then stopped and lifted his head to look around. He must be close to the border now since others wolves were crossing into her trail. He didn't want to cross over the border by mistake so he proceeded with caution. He was well aware of how packs worked and even though each pack was different he always tried to be cautious to not break any of their rules. It wasn't like home, he didn't have a trade relationship with this pack, he was a stranger and to some he may be even seen as danger. He found the border marking and set down before it, his tall form straight yet relaxed.

Tilting his head back he let his deep rumbling howl summoning the alpha of this pack. It went on for a few moments before he lowered his head and waited. Maybe Star would even be around, if not he would need to look for her after he met with the alpha.

Faite Ethereal Adravendi

It was a warm sunny day, perhaps a bit too warm, as Faite lounged under the shade of a tree. The pack had been quiet, partially her fault, though the hunt had been mildly successful as far as turnout. Far better than any hunts she'd attended in Celestial, though she knew that was all up the the members and if they decided to be productive. Fortune had been a giant help - she'd called the activity together at a good time. While hunts were great Faite didn't want all their group activities to be pack meetings and regular hunts, so lately she'd been trying to think up something else, something fun, that would be a good stress reliever. She had a few ideas rolling around, but she hadn't decided on one yet.

Then there was all the packs she needed to go see. She'd debated leaving and scouting out each of them. The trip would be rough, but it was something she needed to get done. Her only downfall was she didn't want to leave the pack unattended that long which then led to the question, who did she want as her secondary? At first she'd been fine with the idea that she could do things by herself, she could, but the strain would be easier with someone else. There were also a few candidates she had in mind, but again she hadn't managed to settle on one yet. It would only be a matter of time before she did though.

The howl at the borders interrupted her thoughts. It'd been a while since she'd had anyone summon her at her borders. Not wanting the stranger to wait too long, Faite sprung to her feet and trotted towards the territory line. Once the stranger was in view she looked him over. He was large, nearly as large as Zell, but far different in appearance. Had it not been summer she could have almost sworn he had a dusting of snow on his back, but it was much too hot. She definitely had not seen this man before - that she was sure of. Regardless, she offered the man a friendly smile as she approached and came to a standstill not too far away.

"Greetings. My name is Faite. What brings you to Lirim?"

Star let out a yelp as she bumped her head on the ceiling of her den, having snapped awake and attempting to jump to alertness as a melodic, rumbling and familiar howl echoed across the valley. Frost had made it! Her excitement burned away the pain as she scrambled to escape her medical den and move at a breakneck speed across the terrain until she could see Frostbite and Faite at the border. Drat! Faite had beaten her here, no matter, the alpha was supposed to greet new comers it was her job. At the thought, there was a fleeting moment of guilt at her own lazy approach to things, but when she wasn't looking for herbs, she had been resting. Things would be better with Frost around, she would be able to focus more and wouldn't have to worry about if he was going to be here or not. He was here!

Explosive joy greeted Frost as she sprang and barked out happily, not bothering to slow but a small fraction of her speed before she aimed a friendly tackle at her friend. "You made it! What took you so long? Were you hurt, sick? Did you get lost? Were you just exploring?" Without missing a beat, Star seemed to remember that Faite was standing near them, and she turned to her alpha and gave her a big, charming grin before she continued speaking. "This is a friend of mine, his name is Frostbite and I brought him here!" Her excitement was hard to contain, or deny, and she found herself beating the mess out of the air and possibly even Frost with her tail. "I am so glad you came, Frost! I cannot wait until you meet everyone! If it is okay with Faite, of course, and if that is something you even want!" She looked between them, her bright eyes wide and expectant, like a child's.

The character you are currently reading is Stardust, as indicated by the red border around her pic.

A women approached that he did not recognize and he stood dipping his head out of respect to the women before sitting back down and making himself comfortable. She greeted him then asks what he's doing in Lirim. Frost was about ready to speak, introduce himself and tell her his purpose for being here. This was before a familiar flash of tan and brown flew at him and tackled into him.

He hadn't been braced, but he was able to catch himself before they both fell to the ground. He let out a deep yet warm chuckle from his chest. She seemed to speak so fast that he couldn't get a word in edge wise, but the tall male was ok with that because he was relieved that she was so happy to see him. She then turn and spoke to Faite as he stood back up her tail beating the side of his neck, but he did not mind it at all.

Star then turned between the two of them and he smiled.

"Well yes, I got a little lost but I have finally come and would like to join Star in this pack" he replied as he looked to Faite.

Faite Ethereal Adravendi

The man greeted her with a polite dip of his head and she offered him a small smile. She could see he was polite enough, judging from his laid back actions, and overall she got a good vibe from him. Before he could even open his mouth to speak though the thundering of paws across the terrain caught her attention. She swung her head just in time to see a tan and white blur streak across her vision before it slammed into the large male. Had it not have come from inside the borders Faite would have been more alarmed, but she recognized the energetic blue immediately. Stardust. A stream of questions soon followed the tackling and Faite chuckled as her tail brushed back and forth. It seemed she was in the company of two old friends now.

She turned her head to look at Star as she introduced him. Frostbite - it was oddly fitting with the white that speckled across his back. The fact that they were friends was a good sign. If Stardust was willing to vouch for her friend then she wouldn't ask too many questions. So long as he helped out a bit she wasn't going to be the one to turn him away. She certainly was no heartless monster in that regard. She could see the hopeful look on Star's face as she looked between her and her friend. Yep. She definitely couldn't have said no even if she'd wanted to.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Frost. Of course you'll be allowed to join Star in the pack, if that's truly what you wish to do. I just need to know what you specialize in. Hunting, healing, or fighting? Or if you are unsure I can hold off on giving you a rank."
