Dance of Brothers [Laisren Spar]
Regulus Anatolii Adravendi |
Alright, so he might have been planning to step down soon, but the lack of any spars since Aurielle and Amos’ spar was starting to make Regulus itch. It was a cool Autumn day, and he was feeling restive. He hadn’t sparred since Amos’ test and he was ready to work out a bit.
He tipped his head back as he reached a muddy spot by a stream that meandered through the plains, calling for Aurielle, and then Laisren with the invitation of a spar. It was time he saw his brother honing his skills and doing part of his job as a Legionary. He was pretty certain he liked the changed Aurielle would be making to the pack.
They had spoken well into the night after speaking with Gwenevere, and several times after. It seemed sound. She was still mulling over ranks, but he was interested to see what she’d reveal.
As he waited, though he could already see his daughter’s shimmering white form approaching, he tested the footing and found it reasonably slippery. Enough to challenge both himself and his sibling. Settling into a stance, he waited patiently as his daughter took a seat nearby, a smile on her face as she offered, “If he’s not tired after you’re done, I may spar with him, too.”
He grinned, nodding. "Let him know when he gets here."

Aurielle Adravendi |
Aurielle had been deep in thought when her father’s call for her to stand as a witness, and then her uncle to spar rang out. Blinking, she yawned and stretched to her paws, taking off at a lope toward his voice, a smile spreading onto her features. It was nice to see some activity.
Her own nicks and bruises had healed by now, and as she settled nearby, she teased, “If he’s not tired after you’re done, I may spar with him, too.”
As he answered, she grinned toothily and nodded, head turning to sweep her gaze over the plains before turning back to study her father’s stance in the mud, taking quiet mental notes. Watching was just another good way to learn more about technique in fighting. Her father and her uncle Laisren were evenly matched in height, so it would be interesting to see how this went.
Walk ---- "Speak" ---- "Hear" ---- Think |
At first glance, Aurielle's coat is pure white.. Her fur has an iridescent quality (like moonstones) where the fur shimmers different colors under various angles of light: in this case, the colors shown by rainbow moonstones. Not one hair on her hide is a solid unnatural color, but, ya know, it's really hard to convey that in still art :P
Aurielle's English is heavily laden with an Irish, Swedish mixed accent.
Her family is allowed to crash all her threads, Private and Open.
As of Autumn Year 14, Aurielle glows with a bright blue-white bio-luminescence in her fur, and bears a marking over her left eye - see profile and reference.
