Since Fiori there had been a lot that had happened with the male. He had lost his sister and the remainder of the pack. After trying to find everyone he decided to try and expand his search and when that failed he had left the lands to try and find Riv. When all efforts failed there he had returned to Boras and was slowly beginning to be reunited with his extended family. Though Holly was still missing and things still were not the same, he was at least feeling a little bit better at this point. His travels have slimmed him down, he wasn't as heavy as he used to be, but the hunter knew how to keep himself fed. The travel built muscle and shaped his metabolism to be faster. He was in his prime, though his life had been a complete mess so far. Through all the mess he had still came out strong and with a will to push on in life.

He was unsettled with were to go or what he was going to do, but he still had some time to figure that out. He was thinking he wanted to go somewhere new, where new memories could be made. Hopefully memories that would be better then the old ones. Even though it was winter he boldly made the decision to travel and even bolder move was to the north. He wanted some new scenery and maybe even find some new faces to get to know. Though he had learned by now not to get his hopes up.

He moved towards the treeline of the large forest, his bi colored gaze looking up to the tree tops, trying to judge exactly how tall they were. They were impressive and massive in size making him feel like a simple ant compared to them. Huffing lightly the male lowered his gaze and continued on, checking out the sites and the smells. He was curious about this place and what may come from his trip to here.

Sindre was all over the map these days. It seemed her restless heart wouldn't have it any other way. Maybe someday she'd find a place to settle down, but in all her years, none so far had jumped out at her. Sindre had traveled far and wide; she'd been to the very bottom of Auster to the very top of Boreas, but there was still much she hadn't seen. Her journey had been lackadaisical to say the least. A stretch here, a sudden turn west there. She chose places carelessly and without thought for tomorrow.

It was that reckless choosing that had brought her to the forest of giants. If she could say one thing about her way of traveling it would be that everyday was an adventure. She didn't know what was around the corner and not only was that freeing, but it was exciting. Sindre started each day wondering what kind of trouble she could drum up.

Speaking of trouble, Sindre had her sights set on the kill of a mountain lion. It was a small goat of some sort and heavily picked over. The carcass had been torn in two uneven pieces. Because the back end was basically just the legs, Sindre thought she could make off with it. The mountain lion it belonged to was sleeping atop a nearby outcropping. If she was quiet and quick, maybe, just maybe, she could get a free meal.

A flash of orange drew her gaze away from the kill and towards the opposite side of the clearing. A wolf was headed her way and by the look of him, he didn't appear to know what he was walking in to. Sindre gave a low woof to grab his attention then jerked her head in the direction of the outcropping. As she gazed at the stranger, she had an idea. She grinned at him, hoping to rope him into her scheme by motioning to the carcass and then over her shoulder. Hopefully he'd catch on and realize she wanted him to help her make off with the kill.
