She had lived sheltered for as long as she could remember, until Talis had fallen. Since then, she kept close to her mothers side, though lately...her paws had been starting to itch. She wasn't sure why, but she kept feeling an invisible pull on her. So this morning, she left the pines where her family was staying and headed further north. On the way there, she passed through many lands, all just as breathtaking as the last. She had never really explored beyond pack borders, and even after she was considered a loner, she hadn't really explored. Even with the trip from the pines to Auster when her brother had moved them, and then the trip from Auster back to the pines...she never truly looked at the lands they passed through. But now? She regretted not having done that before.
She climbed the northermost point until she stood near a tower of some sort, and upon closer inspection she could tell that it was man made. Just like the castle had been. The large girl tilted her head up to stare at the giant structure, and she wondered if there was a way inside the ice encased fortress or if it was sealed away from trespassers forever. |
