Galahad opened his eyes, looking sadly over to the spot where Oracle should have been laying. What had happened to her? Why had she gone? The black and white brute rose with a pain in his heart. Something had happened to Oracle... and he didn't know what it was. But he wasn't sure what to do. What if she was on her way back now... and he left and she got home to find him missing? The poor brute was so conflicted. What should he do?

Galahad left the den, stretching out his limbs as he looked over the snow covered land. More of the cold white stuff was falling from steely gray skies too. Green eyes scanned in each direction, hoping, praying, that he would see another set of pawprints at the very least that were of someone his age. None but his own were there, however.

It was lonely without Oracle. Sure he had lost the other members of his family too but... this loss cut deeper than the others. The boy lowered his ears, his gaze shifting to the ground. Something... he had to do something... but where to start?

She stood upon the obsidian beach, oddly silent for once, staring out at the darkened waves with contemplation in her eyes and an inexplicable sadness in her heart. Silver and celestial optics observed the rolling of the water with an empty interest, orbs glazed with a far-away look. A breeze lightly ruffled her pale pelt, which stood out against the black sand and dim sea. Aegira was perched on the outskirts of the pillars, not quite in their semi-circle grasp but after a few long moments her paws carried her through the shallows and she entered the realm of the cove.

Her minuscule frame stopped at the center of the cove, gaze still cast outward. The young woman was so deeply cocooned in the web of her thoughts that she was entirely unaware that she wasn't the only one here. Her tail swayed lightly around her dampened ankles, brushing the waves as they broke softly around her paws, the sea caressing its lost child with unmatched tenderness as the yearling thought of her family, wondering, thinking, pondering about where they'd gone.

As Galahad's gaze shifted back over the cove once more the youth caught a strange, new scent. It was not one of the snow rogues, no, not even close to one of them. The black and white brute would flick an ear back with uncertainty before padding down towards the cove, curious to see who this stranger was that had come across his home. Whomever it was, he could at least tell that she was a female.

She was alone... and older than him it seemed. He was about half her age, being born in summer and all. For a moment Galahad would hesitate, one paw raised above the snow. But he decided to push past his uncertainty and padded over to the female. He approached behind her, voice soft as he addressed her.

"Welcome to Soul Sand Cove. Just visiting the sights...?"
