seeking the wind

Voltage spent a great deal of time with Glacier and Serefina than his other siblings. His brother because of the celebration planning, and that he was a fabulous soundboard for when Voltage became too full with emotion and feeling, his sister because she refused to leave him alone for too long. They could have been mistaken as twins, their boundless energy, their affection and how often they spent time together. He knew she worried for him, especially after returning to their old island home and the depression that seemed to plague him, and that she just wanted him to feel okay and to be as happy as he tried to make her and all of them. He spent the most of his time with his two closest siblings, but the rest he hardly got to see. Gale and Locha and Terrae, and even the youngest he had brought home. He hardly gotten to spend any time with them, and it was his goal this day to change that…at least a little bit. It was his goal today to go out and find his formally littest sister (it was a tie now, he had decided) and spend some time reinforcing their bonds. Gale seemed to be more at Glacier’s side than his own, and he figured it was because he was so flighty. The high energy siblings could easily keep up with him, and sometimes he was terrified he would accidentally leave his more laid back siblings in the dust. That was why he searched for her along the volcano this day, seeking out her small grey form with the pretty wind markings she was so aptly named for. "Gaaale~" He called out, searching for her, paws pounding endlessly along the volcano in search for his sister. "Burn Baby Burn" |

Walk | Talk | Think The winds that used to hang around the mountain had disappeared, leaving Gale with less to do and less to keep her occupied. She had wanted to start venturing out on her own, to see what was out there and to find new spots that offered her the feel of her element as she preferred, and at first she had gotten lucky and done just that. But with her season upon her, her receptiveness known, Glacier was more adamant about her hanging back and staying out of trouble than seemed fair. Of course she understood why he wanted her to stick to the mountain - she was in no way prepared for motherhood either - but having her freedoms stifled in this manner was oppressive. Which made the call from her excitable, energetic older brother so very tempting. Her ears perked and her head lifted from her paws where she had been resting, turning to glance toward the sound of his sing-song voice with a growing grin. What was Flash up to? Unable to help herself, too curious to keep her brother waiting, Gale dragged herself to her lavender paws and hurried to find him, not the least bit surprised that he was on the move when her pale, grey-green eyes landed on him. Still grinning, even chuckling, she called out to him teasingly, "What's up, Flash? Need someone to time a race?" |

He trounced the mountain searching for her. If it had be a prey animal he would have killed it several times over. If his pawprints had the ability to glow after each step, the volcano would be a sight to see. He moved with boundless energy, feeling the warm earth beneath his paws with each step, feeling the slight mountain breeze that he knew so well. He didn't much mind this endless searching, it was at least something to do. He didn't even scent the sweet wind for his sister, he much preferred searching so endlessly for her. With a hum he continued to trot along the volcano, a happy smile upon his face. He seemed rather happy-go-lucky this day, despite the depression and anger that filled him since the trip to the island. It was all due to his siblings, especially, at this time, do to Glacier and Serefina. They managed to calm his flitting emotions, with their games and sentiment. Yet he needed the rest of his siblings aswell, needed their support and their shoulders and the gentle touches they hard for him. Needed to know that what he was doing, the sacrifices they were making, the anger he felt….that it was all for the good. He needed to know that they were stable, that they were doing well. After his call the scent of his sister swelled around him. It was alluring but oh so forbidden, and he shook his head to get ahold of himself. With a gentle smile he turned to her, watching as his air sister moved so gently towards him, and he grinned oh so brightly as she used the nickname she had created for him. At least it wasn’t the worst of the bunch, and it certainly did match the elder Elementas. He dipped his head to his sister and moved to press a kiss into her cheek and the side of her neck. "Perhaps I just wished to spend some time with my favourite windmaiden? Is that so wrong?" He teased with a gentle smile, moving to circle around her (if only because he couldn’t stand still for too long before he bowed on his legs. "Tell me, little lady, how do you take the mountain? Do you enjoy this place? And might I ask what you do for your fun on this rock?" He teased, shifting on his paws, fidgeting but not because he was bored or anxious, but because he just needed to move. "Burn Baby Burn" |
