Was their daughter alright? Was she even… still alive? The thought that someone might have hurt her made him sick to his stomach. He didn’t want to face Shiki and Ceph either, to tell them what he had discovered… but… not letting them know would only make them worry all the more. His tail lashed angrily back and forth as he stalked on towards the den, wondering if Poe might have better luck at locating their little Elpis.
