Sitting in the middle of the ravine, staring up at the two or three stars that twinkled in the sliver of night sky he could only just make out, Amos sighed heavily. Aurielle had been busy when he mentioned he was wanting to head out for a while, so today he explored unaccompanied. Earlier he'd thought about stopping by the battlefield but he'd have to go get someone to witness and it would be a whole long trip. In the end he'd just wandered out to the ravine and decided to poke around for the hell of it. Finding the best way in had taken the better part of the last hour. Too tired to worry about much more adventuring, he'd flopped heavily on the ground and rolled over to stare up at the darkening sky.

Occasionally he grew curious about how the rest of his family was doing, but he left the pack so rarely that it just... wasn't something he had the time to actually investigate. Mara was probably fine, his siblings were likely building their lives in whatever places they'd eventually ended up in. Rolling onto his side, Amos stared out across the floor of the ravine, trying to decide where he might curl up for the night but not really feeling motivated enough to do it just yet.

She had decided to leave Lirim lands for the day, sick and tired of being confined within it. She knew that with her rank she wasn't supposed to go out unaccompanied, but she honestly thought that her brother and Frostbite had forgotten about her, or her brother was just being really mean and decided to stick her with that rank forever so she couldn't explore anymore. But she couldn't take being stuck in pack lands any longer, she needed to go out. It was boring, and everything felt too damn tense. So she left without a word. She was old enough and big enough to handle herself, she had been for a while. Her father had taught her how to fight, so she could take care of herself so that...well, so she wouldn't end up like Jewell.

Excited to be out again, she traveled until the sun went down and the moon came up. She bounded from one interesting thing to another, and as the stars began to flood the night sky, she looked up to watch them. Her paws kept moving, however, and without realizing exactly where she was, her foot slipped out from under her and she went tumbling down the ravine. With a surprised yelp, she rolled head over heels for what felt like an eternity, but then her body rolled into someone else before the momentum flung her over him until she landed with a hard thud several feet away, knocking the wind out of her. "Oowwww..." She lied there in a crumpled heap, dazed and confused.

"Speak"
