Zee had spoken to him in no uncertain terms about what Indy wanted, and what Zee wanted for their child. Letting any of his babies go would not be easy for the possessive Warlord. He loved the lion-main healer, and where the boy was asking to go was the easiest path for Sirius to allow. He knew Resin would watch out for his son, and encourage him to learn and grow. He would have Meadow, who’s optimism and sweetness were boundless.

He did, however, want to hear it from the boy's lips himself. He went searching for him in the glass house he had made for his son. Wondering, as he did so, how difficult it would be to cart the pieces and rebuild them in Resin’s territory. If that was what Indy wanted… Sirius would find a way. He had to.

Indigo still wanted to go to the Hallows like Iolaire had suggested. He’d get away from being so close to Asla and maybe he’d finally be able to clear his head. The hurt he felt when he thought about her was still very real, but after they’d talked.. He’d seen her feather behind her ear and he knew. He’d always know. Indigo’s thoughts didn’t stray far from his sister, especially now as he was tending the garden distractedly. The boy would soon make the move official, but he was a little nervous. This was going to be new for him, he’d always planned to live in the Armada for the rest of his life, but things changed. It seemed like things were always changing.

The boy was quiet as Sirius appeared in the garden, but now Indigo was just as tall as Sirius and by the end of the year would undoubtedly outweigh his father. Bright blue eyes turned up, the boy was laying sphynx like in the grass, flowers surrounding him and Short Round snored at the edge of the garden. ”Dad?” He asked softly, knowing that he was likely searching for him.

Warning: Indigo should be considered a Mature Character.

“Indigo” he said softly, as his son called out to him. He spotted the boy, as brightly toned as his flowers as he nestled among them. Looking for all the world like he belonged amongst growing things. He prowled slowly over, and flopped heavily to the floor near the boy.

He got comfortable, spreading out his toes so they touched Indigo’s outstretched digits, looking into the blue-toned gaze of his soft-hearted son, and gave a cautious smile. “Your mother told me you have something to ask of me, as your Alpha and your Father” he prompted gently. Zee had made it clear to him what her opinions of this were, and he would try to do his best by his son. However, he wanted to know Indigio’s thoughts, and to consider how well he would do outside of his father's protective circle. Sirius should let him go. But could he?

The young Fatalis looked up to his father with the same bright blue eyes they shared. Sirius offered him a quick greeting and flopped onto the ground, creating a much less intimidating presence than if he’d remained standing. Indigo was put at ease, but at the back of his mind the real reason for his need to go lingered. He swallowed softly and pressed it down as his father reached out his similar cat-like paws. He pressed gently, mentioning the discussion that Inigo had with his mother.

Zee had told him about the new litter and Indy was having trouble getting excited about new siblings. He already wasn’t close to Azure or Mortis, though he would have done anything in the world for his brothers. He might have been afraid for the younger pups, he didn’t wish his own affliction on his worst enemy, he hoped they wouldn’t turn out like himself and Aslatiel. Sirius wasn’t here for that reason though, this was about Indigo and his path in life.

”I want to go to the Hallows.” Indigo told him simply, no hesitation in his voice at all. His mind had already been made up. He needed to be away from Aslatiel so that maybe his heart would begin to heal. Maybe it wouldn’t though. ”I feel like I need to be closer to Meadow, and that I’d learn so much more in a place like that.” Here he was likely to become a master or one thing: healing battle injuries. With Resin he could learn so much more with her safe haven for those who needed rest and rehabilitation. Of course, that was only his best excuse, not the real reason.

Warning: Indigo should be considered a Mature Character.

The Warlord looked to his brilliantly toned son. Like an indigo flower, so aptly named. As the healer pushed his paws against that of the Warlord, Sirius managed a soft smile. He wanted Indigo to find happiness in this world, to find his place, and things and people he believed in, and found worth healing. As Sirius had found those worth fighting for.

The Warlord placed a paw over Indigo’s after a moment, clasping his arm gently, and looking into the mirror of his eyes. “Indigo. I love you, and you will always have a place in my heart and home. You have my blessing to go to the Hallows, and if ever you want to come home, there will be a high rank and a place for you here. I love you, my son.” the Warlord wasn’t always perfect at expressing his love and affection, but he knew the importance of it in that moment. He held Indigo’s gaze, so his son would know he meant every word uttered.

Sirius had Indigo’s best interests at heart even if he would never understand how Indigo truly felt. He was hopeful, maybe the Hallows really would help to bring him to a fruitful adulthood. Indy wanted happiness, and wanted to find his place in the world, and maybe make his parents proud of him after a rough start. Bright blue eyes found his father’s mirrored gaze as the Warlord spoke. He loved him, he always had a place for him, and that would never change.

Indy hoped that was true, he’d never forget that day that his father had pulled him away from Aslatiel that day when they were so much younger. ”I love you too, dad.” Indigo returned softly, his lips pulling back into a smile as he revealed his pearly canines. ”I won’t forget. I won’t be very far.” That consolation was mostly for himself. Asla would never be so far away, nor would his immediate family.

Warning: Indigo should be considered a Mature Character.

The Warlord nodded slowly, it was one of the reasons he was letting this happen. Letting his son go. His healer child would do better in the more friendly-natured pack. It helped that Sirius remembered the time not too long ago when another wolf had tried to rip off Indigo's tail in front of him. A wolf whose face Sirius would never forget, even if Indigo had proven himself in winning the battle.

Flowers had always been the language between the two wolves, even - and especially - when Sirius had struggled with showing affection. He had built gardens and greenhouses, places for Indigo to feel at home in his birth pack. He reached out a paw, showing Indigo the seedlings nestled between his claws. “I am told these are called the Armada Rose, I hope you will grow them and remember your roots, and that your family will always be here for you.”
