Eraithus hadnt thought of what the darkness entailed. With the glow of the moon above him he stared at the giant leaf Voodoo had instructed him to use for gathering herbs. He had come to discover that staring at any of the mushrooms or crystals caused symptoms. After hearing Recluse was sick he had wanted nothing more than to help. She had another litter and those pups needed their strong mother. Voodoo had done an excellent job taking care of him. As Deathbelles daughter he saw an opportunity to help and her mild knowledge of herbs could ease Recluse.... could it not? How suck was she? Would she recognize him? Eraithus shook his head.

"Mint, liverwort, and honeysuckle." He repeated each one as he pointed to the herbs. Voodoo had told him the description of each and now he was simply waiting for her to come and help him wrap the herbs to take to Recluses den. If she was even there. It didnt take long for the yearling to return. She carried a few poppy flowers with her. He wasnt a healer but he trusted that these herbs were harmless enough if not beneficial for Habaris alpha.

Voodoo had a feeling the only reason Eraithus had asked to help was to see Recluse. In the back if the youths mind she wasnt so sure how to feel about it. Although perhaps it would show the alpha that despite her young absence she worked hard. Two of the herbs had been able to bring Eraithus out of his lung infection. Voodoo was certain if not hopeful that these would help. The honeysuckle especially, she had been lucky to find the plant and she knew it helped with disease when ingested in small amounts. Every time she picked herbs now though she thought of the male. Perhaps she should take a break and concentrate on her fighting skills after all this.

She approached Eraithus coolly. She saw the man as only a patient. Voodoo flicked her tail and looked up the volcano. Wordlessly they packed the herbs and voodoo led them to Recluses den. Standing just outside of it she dropped her bundle. "Recluse?" Voodoo called gently but hopefully loud enough for the ghostly alpha to hear. "I... brought you some herbs" she smiled.

Recluse Ithuriel-Klein Recluse would always be glad when Eraithus showed his face, she had an admitted fondness for the blue man and was glad to know his sickness had not been quite so serious as her own was proving to be. Half-blind and exhausted at all times she needed to lean on her pack more than ever, especially to look after her young rambunctious children whom she was incapable of keeping up with in her current state. Recluse was resting within her den, the children were down for their midnight nap and so she had no qualms about sleeping lightly herself. Most nights she would be found laying outside the den when the kids were out but for now she could rest well. Her ears perked when she heard her cousin's call and the woman, gave a soft call back. Not wanting to wake the pile of puppies at the far corner of her den. "Come in." She felt inclined to remain underground most days and so she had no desire to get up, instead inviting the young woman in. "Speech"

Eraithus heard Recluse and it upset him. Not her but the fact that this illness had hit her. Infection was not good and when he remembered such things from his homeland that he didnt think about often it made him bitter. However, such things didnt stop him. He encouraged voodoo the young healer to enter. As did he holding the bundles of herbs. His eyes looked to her new pups that she took careful care of depsite her sickness. His heart swelled such proud new life and he smiled. "Recluse.... we brought some things that might help." he wasnt an expert but he had taken these herbs and recovered from lung infection why not her.

Eraithus sat down curling his tail over his front paws. "Your pups look so well and beautiful." he cooed gently. She was strong and just like her yearlings now she made a great mother. One day he hoped to be a father of some sort. It had always been his dream to have pups. Gently his tail wagged as he looked to voodoo to do her craft.

Voodoo watched Eraithus rather curiously. Her attention soon switched to Recluse though. Oddly enough she felt a sense or warmth from the small bundles her cousin was caring for. It wasnt long ago that she was that size although she was proving to be on the taller side. She was no dire but her long legs gave her height. That aside Voodoo was concentrated on the herbs she brought. She had used them all on herself and Eraithus at some point so she knew they were safe. Carefully she bundled some liverwort, mint and honeysuckle into a pile. Taking her paw she gently crushed them until the mint smell did come through. She then pushed the soft mush of plants towards the alpha. "The mint i use for calming and taste. The honeysuckle is a bit sweet but really the mint will help the suckle and liverwart to go down." She explained to Recluse. This was her only second time treating someone.... at least she wasnt counting the accident she had yet to tell anyone about.

"I dont know if they will help your illness. But they arent harmful otherwise so i wanted to helo." Voodoo puffed up her chest fur proudly. She was a klein and she wanted to prove that. Her mother was Deathbelle previous queen, that meant something to her even if she wasnt entirely ambitious in the alpha sense.

Recluse Ithuriel-Klein It was a pleasant surprise to see Eraithus entering her den and the woman couldn't help the soft smile that played across her lips even as she was tired and weak. His gaze moved on to her children and it warmed her to see him approach them so gently. It would have been hard to miss his fondness for her and she had no doubts that he had machinations of his own for his relationship to her but she was glad to see he carried no jealousy for her own children, no resentment. A lesser man would have seen them as a threat. Her attention turned towards her cousin though and she nodded, accepting the herbs that were presented towards her and laped them up. She swallowed with a little difficulty but once her throat was clear she gave the young woman a nod. "Thank you Voodoo." She gave the girl a warm look. "I know this must be stressful on you all, not sure anything will cure this. " She glanced over at the sleeping pile of puppies. "I worry mostly for them." She felt her heart ache a little. "They all seem so strong but I know they're even less prepared physically than I am. Ichor especially worries me. He eats fine and doesn't seem to be weakening but he's just so small." Her voice wavered and she was struggling to fight off the fatigue that rolled over her, she was just so tired. "Speech"
