The loud squeals of a small animal filled the grove that Idris and Matija had made into a camp. Clearing out the brush enough so that there was space for them to live in, Idris places himself and the writhing animal in the middle. Blood covers his ivory lips and mats the animal's fur as he drops it to the ground. Before it could take off, he places a large paw on top of one of the animal's still good legs, leaving the two broken ones available for maneuvering. "Oh, Cambria," Idris calls out in sickly sweet tones, grey eyes searching the surroundings for his... pet. Yes, pet was a nice word for her even if what she truly was was something far more demeaning. "I do believe I need your help," his lips pull up in a twisted fashion as he presses harder against the fossa's unbroken leg. It continues to wriggle beneath him, attempting to escape before it dies, but Idris won't allow it to happen. 1/3 Taught a lesson on how to tourniquet a broken limb

It's the scream of an injured animal that rouses Cambria from her nap. She had assisted in clearing away a space for the trio to use as a base camp and, with the heat of the day above them, she had curled up on the cool earth beneath the roots of a mangrove. Verdant eyes blinking away sleep, she hears Idris calling for her a moment later. The combination of sounds didn't bode well.

Rising from her place, Bria padded towards the big brute, stilling for a moment when her gaze fell upon the fossa writhing in pain. It made Cambria feel ill and her stomach clenched hard, threatening to give up its hold on her lunch. "What-" her voice cracked, her mouth running dry. "Y-you called for me?" From her vantage, she could see that the fossa's legs were sticking out at odd angles. Great.

Thankfully for Idris, Cambria doesn't keep him waiting. It's all going to be unfortunate for the fossa but Idris could care less. Leveling his gaze with the woman, he takes his time to soak up the fear in her eyes, notice how her words sound dry, muscles tense, uncertain if she should get any closer. His lips curl into a tighter smile, the gleam in his eyes something to worry about. "Oh, I did, yes," Idris confirms her question, a brief nod before he points a paw at the injured animal. "My health is important and if I were to ever break my leg, I need to know you'll be able to save me," he says slowly, deliberately so she understands. "There is a flat enough stick and some long banana leaves right over there. Get those, now," the man barks, lips lifting slightly to show he meant business. "We will each set a leg. I will show you first and then you will try," he says as he watches her bring the materials back over. Once the supplies are set in front of him, he leans toward Cambria now that she's close enough. "Hold your paw down on its thigh so it can't escape," he hisses into her ear, licking at her cheek before he pulls away. When the fossa is sufficiently in place where he can remove his own paw, he grabs one of the sticks. "See how the bone is sticking out, we must put it back in place as such," quickly Idris maneuvers his paws so  that the bone is no longer at an odd angle. The fossa lets out a gurgling squeal in response, but it only entices the man further. "You must set it or the leg will no longer work," he warns her, leveling his gaze with her before continuing. "Then you will take the banana leaves and some twine or whatever you have on paw to wrap the leg and stick so that it is firmly in place," Idris works, his gaze moving back down to the smaller fossa leg until he's finished. 2/3 Taught a lesson on how to tourniquet a broken limb
