Ooc:: Just a note for my timeline, this will occur after my two threads with Arwel on Nephlim Island.

Something would stir again. The need to test his skills once more, to feel the challange of a friendly spar and perhaps meet a new friend. Those were the types of things on his mind as the six year old male made his way to the battlefield. Territory that he was hardly familiar with, though that was quite alright. One would make ventures like this in order to learn to begin with, right? So it was a learning experience, and one that Arwel would certainly take to heart.

The ground was solid underneath his paws, and the lingering scents of wolves lay scattered about here. It was a little strange in a way to have an area like this reserved in lands for fight purposes only, but he supposed at the same time it kept things organized in a way. The brute would tilt his head back, a requesting howl for a spar partner going up into the air. Any were welcome to join him.

ooc;; would looooove to do away with post deadlines for this :)

It had come time for Natalya to test herself once more. Life thus far had been rather lackadaisical, and she feared that too long out of the ring would leave her unable to defend herself. As a member of both Olympus and Hesperides, and a blind woman, Natalya prided herself on her strength and cunning in battle. She was determined to prove herself in these lands as well as she had in lands before. For now, however, she would seek only someone to practice with, to get herself back in fighting shape.

She would find herself answering the call of a stranger as she walked through a land that reeked of blood and death. These lands were certainly meant for battle, though she did not understand why. The summer sun heated her back and made the smells even more prominent, and Natalya struggled to sniff past them to catch the scent of the male on the air. He belonged to another pack from what she could tell, one she would perhaps seek out an alliance with after this battle. For now, she would stop a few feet in front of him and greet him with a dip of her head.

Does a friendly fight interest you, stranger?

Ooc:: Yep! No deadlines~

So Arwel would wait in the lands of blood and death for someone to answer his call. Though the male wished for the fight, and the chance to test his strength as well as find where he was lacking in his abilities, he wouldn?t entirely mind if someone didn?t show up. Cerulean eyes would slide closed for the moment as he waited, going back in time to the moment when he truly wished his fighting skills were great. Had they been, might he have been able to save his family? A pang would reach his heart... And then words would reach his ears.

Arwel would open his orbs, looking upon an all black fae, with eyes to match. She was a unique site, strangely beautiful, he would note. This was the woman who had decided to answer his call. He wasn?t against fighting a woman, though he had honestly been expecting a male, if any, to answer his call. All the same Arwel would gently smile, giving a nod of his head, unaware that the fae was blind. ?Indeed it would, miss. I would be most happy if you were to spar with me.? Any type of fighting would be wonderful, just to brush up his skills and see what he needed to work on.

So the brute would ready himself. He would lower his body to the ground, distributing his weight so that he would be prepared for any type of attack this woman might throw at him. He would tuck his tail, pin his ears, and narrow his eyes to give further protection to such areas, though in a friendly spar he doubted he would have to worry about any of those areas receiving heavy damage. He would spread his digits, getting a good grip upon the ears, and scrunch his neck, gaze never leaving the female. ?I?m ready when you are, miss. You are welcome to make the first move.?
