the cat had hit him hard. he had known for a while that maeva was starting to rot, but did she really smell? he couldn't tell. he must be used to her. but poorly skinned? pft, please. he would show her. and show, he did. for hours he had spent tracking, hunting, then skinning another doe. she was younger, but only slightly.

and so here he was, proudly presenting maeva two point o. he stood arrogantly, crown lifted high and a stupid smirk playing endlessly upon his lips. his toes would splay and fidget in the grainy sand, leaving his nearly emaciated hips to sway beneath the cover of the cervid. for now he would relax, enjoy the cool breeze of the springtime weather.
