It had been a long, long time since he'd been in a pack. Even longer since he'd felt like a good fit in a pack. Years had gone by, with Lykos mostly just drifting along side of them, not really doing anything, not really learning anything, not really... Anything at all. Just surviving. And that, he knew, had to change.

Word of this pack piqued his interest. He knew of the others - he wasn't interested. But this pack had very little said about it, other than that it could trade... Things. What those wings were no one could say. But it was a mysterious bunch, to say the least. It was also the last pack that Lyjos had any interest in, though he did have a rudimentary interest in the Abraxas packs. Even so, this pack took Dominion in the north, something that further increased his interest; not many would reside so north. He would, but he was one of those odd ones.

He paused along the border, eyeing it houghtfully. He had stopped a respectable distance back; he would not sit completely on top of the border. However, he was close enough for it to look like snooping, or curiosity. Both were true, honestly. He settled down on his haunches with a sigh, before tipping his head back and calling for the alpha. Let's see what this pack was about.

Enrico had been hunting, a venture unsuccessful as he had instead stumbled across a wounded snow leopard. The tense situation was alleviated somewhat by the fact that both he and the cat were gentlemen and chose to speak civilly to one another, diffusing the dangerous tension enough that after some polite discussion an agreement was made between the two and Enrico had helped Asriel back to the ship where the cat would be given time and assistance in recovering. He had also taken the time to inform the others of why a leopard had suddenly taken up residence, just to avoid any possible unpleasantness.

All that had quite eaten up both his available tike and his desire to hunt, so he had taken a patrol to renew the scent markers instead. He was pleased to note that they were strong and established now.

Somewhat less pleased for a call to reach his ears to summon him a short ways up the border. The fact that the pack was starting to attract attention made him wary even now. Basileus Scarlatti had not, after all, been the ONLY one hunting him.

He was quick to answer the call, however, scrambling to the ridge of ice that separated him from seeing the caller. He took a moment at the top to survey the dark male before trotting down the other side and coming to a halt before the stranger. “Good day,” he said politely, no hint of the wary suspicions he would always hold surfacing beneath the polished, dignified exterior. “Is there something I can help you with?”
