Winter seemed to roll in over night, or at least blizzard conditions. Blinding snow blanketed the ground, making most areas look the same to someone without knowledge of the lands. Wind rolled through the seemingly uncharted area, sweeping up snow in a beautiful flurry as if to intensify the already falling snow and weather conditions. It was freezing, hunger was finally taking its toll, and Lleh didn't know where she was. White fur blended in perfectly against the frozen background, making the canine seem as ghost like as she nearly sounded. Paws carefully hit the ground, pushing her large body forward in a weird trotting motion, attempting to be quiet against the crunching snow. Ruby eyes scanned the terrain placed before herself, attempting to find signs of any life that traversed these lands since the blizzard conditions set in. Skull lowered towards the ground, pink merled nose flaring to take in fading scents, and suddenly her posture changed. Lleh's tattered ears perked forward, curled tail once hanging low now stood tall and nearly touching her spine. Finally! Prey wasn't far, and with hunger driving her forward without any second thought, she just sprinted. Trees and rock passed by in a blur, eyes and mind set on one goal. A small prey scent that was picked up. This left the albino canine completely unguarded for once in her life, but these conditions where completely new to her. Right after a fresh meal, a shelter would be necessary, but without vast familiarity of these areas.. That was going to prove to be difficult. "speak"

The dark of his pelt was beginning to weigh down beneath the accumulating snow as he rushed through the blizzard en route of his makeshift home in the mines. The day a pack chased him out of these mountains would be quite awkward, as he had been dwelling here for almost all of his life. Winter reminded him that he was another year older, though it was hard to believe another one had went by already. In his own mind, he was still had so much to learn - why had he pictured himself so much wiser at this age when he was a pup? For instance, a smart wolf wouldn't have missed the signs in the weather that would notify him that a blizzard was coming. He had neglected it to the point of risking losing all sense of direction in a cruel world of white; wasn't he supposed to be a 'smart' wolf by now? A cold chill shook his bones and forced him to thrash some of that snow off. He hadn't realized just how damp his pelt was becoming until it was now exposed to the cold air. A snowshoe hare rushed just across his path as it also darted toward the mountain mines. He knew they liked to reside in the vegetation that had taken over some of the sunnier parts of the broken caverns and had burrows all through-out the tunnel system. It was quite amazing what generations of rabbits had managed to accomplish there without many threats coming by. Dominus actually preferred larger meals, and never found a rabbit worthy of the energy it took him to expense - not since he'd grown past a yearling, anyway. Overgrown claws would grip into the ice for traction as he immediately through his weight to follow that hare, wanting to keep it in his sights to lead him home. The smell of it and the thick of the pines told him he was getting closer, but the rabbit was much lighter and quicker across the fields of snow than he was. Even now that the pines began to shelter some of the ground, the snow was high - his weight sunk and left craters beneath where the bulk of him crafted the memory of his chosen path.

Nostrils flared as scents started to become entangled together with something else, another wolf nearby? Ears swiveled while attention started to become aware of the current surroundings, attempting to pick up any sounds. Paws continued to push the lanky body forward in a sprint, snow now crunching under her weight without a care to who heard. The rabbit was near, so she had to be quick! Even as the cold, wet snow began to make her muscles hurt when the wind gusted through the area. She would survive without being caught. Finally, an opening to the short lived forest that surrounded the rock-face, but it wasn't just her prey waiting. Rose colored eyes went wide upon seeing a huge figure running not far in the distance. Limbs stiffened, muscles screaming at the sudden stop while her weight nearly toppled her over due to the slick terrain. Tail lost all buoyancy and rested against haunches, emotions swept through Lleh's mind. Maw parted and saliva dripping down between pearly canines, the food was right there. A quick examination and a sudden deadly thought pushed her forward. Curled tail seemed straight for once, ears rested flat against her pristine pelt, and limbs went into motion once more. Her goal was to snatch the rabbit from right in front of this larger canine, even if it risked her life. "speak"

Dominus was so focused on following that rabbit as it hopefully led him back home. He was freezing, his limbs were beginning to burn under frigid temperatures in the blizzard - it wasn't until the woman was right in front of him that he noticed her. Overgrown claws ripped into the snow in an attempt to slow himself and avoid hitting her, involuntarily nearly sending himself tumbling. He stumbled, the light and freshly fallen snow dusting up around him until it was sent with the howling wind. He could see her intentions now that he was looking at her - he knew that wolves often preyed on rabbits but these rabbits shared a home with him, and they were more or less his roommates. He felt attached to them oddly, enough so that it inspired him to immediately dash in front of the female and block off her path to follow it. The blue-eyed beast stood tall and menacing but said nothing about the rabbit as he stared into her soul. If she wanted to argue, she would have to start it, but he wasn't going to allow her to get past him. He didn't look behind him, but he hoped that the rabbit had made it back to the mountain caves. His stance squared in preparation, ready for anything - the savage had learned by now to always be prepared whether there was a fight or not. He may have been reckless in nature, but getting ready for a fight should this become one was something that he always took the time to plan carefully. Limbs balanced out his bulk as his knees bent just slightly, his hackles prickling wildly now that the snow had been shaken from him in his tumble; they were pointy, slick with the wet of the snow and it was hard to tell where fur stopped and became muscle.

Limbs burned, muscles straining as Lleh pushed herself further than usual in attempt to get past this beast. It didn't take long for the dark cloaked beast to turn and retaliate against whatever was going on. Attention completely swept away from her prey, paws pushing against the ground to leap away from the figure, attempting to gain what distance she could. They were already close together, so anything would help the visibly smaller female. "What the hell was that for?!" She spat out, facial muscles twisting into a snarl as she spoke. Pink tongue licked over canines after speaking, matching the venom laced words with a same reaction. Front limbs pushed forward against freezing snow, easily sliding the limber wraith into a defensive position closer to the ground. Muscles tensing while readying herself to move at any second like a spring. This male may be bigger, but in her mind, she was faster. Lleh didn't know these lands. It was clear that she needed more weight and soon would be looking for shelter, even if she had to fight for it or even talk her way into some agreement. "Going to protect some of the only prey I could find?" Words snorted out as her head shook in retaliation of the thought. Wispy tail curled further against her back, not showing any signs of submission against this male. "speak"
