Dempsey trudged up the river's edge. He was aching, his entire body on fire. Who knew a cat could put such demands on one's internal instincts? The sun was shining down on his back and the weather was beyond hot, which totally did not help his current state. His loins burned with need and he felt he was going to die before he found an appropriate swimming hole. Dempsey knew that would at least subside his longing, but he would rather have a pretty female to take advantage of instead.
