Glad to be Home

After a good long nap in the sun after returning home the young boy headed back towards the family den. He was hopeful to get to see some of his siblings again and find out how they were. He had a lot to catch up on and he even hoped to get some training with his siblings. He figured the best place to start was at the den and if none were there he would span out his search. He was really glad to be back home and hoped that his siblings were as happy of his return as his father had been. While he was away he had discovered his likes and the skills he wanted to excel in. Despite the attack from the cougar leaving the big old scar on his flank the male wanted to be a fighter like his father and he also loved to hunt and track. He knew that's what he wanted to strive for, but to get there he needed to train and he hoped his siblings shared similar interests so he could train with them. He had every intention of getting time in with his siblings and hoped to have a good relationship with them. He slowed as he approached the den, bi colored eyes looking around to see if anyone was around. "Talk"

Polaris has been feeling way better, has been feeling better with her life so far. Even though she grew up without a mother at all she still felt lucky she was around her father, siblings, and the pack in general. And mourning any longer wouldnt change the reality, her mother was gone and gone forever. And well, she had yo move on for her own sake and that of those who are still by her side. Her father would need her support, she was sure he also has been struggling and more than giving him a cold shoulder, she wanted to give him more and make sure he was fine. Her siblings could also need her help, though she wasnt going to force anyone. And today she rested on the den she still shared with her family, one she has been the majority of her childhood, while she took over how she was feeling in the beginning. There she just lied down without much on her activities. There she contemplated the view of the outside world. And there was when her brother came within. “Arcticus,” She called out trying to sound warm, though she hasn’t seen him in a while to the point of thinking he’d left as well. But what mattered was that he was here now. “How have you been?” "Speech" |

His eyes were quick to catch sight of his sister, just as she called out to him. He smiled warmly and his tail would wag in a friendly greeting. He was glad to know that she was still here and that she looked well. Her voice sounded older and she had grown since he had last saw her, but she was still his blood, his sister. "Polaris." he greeted with a warm tone. She then asked how he had been which was an easy start to the conversation. It made him relax a little more that she didn't question right off where he had been, or even seem angry with him. He was going to explain where he had been, so that she knew he didn't just abandon her and the others. "Much better now that I found my way home," he started. "How have you been?" He didn't want to make the conversation all about him. Yes he would explain to her, but he wanted to know how she had been fairing since he disappeared. What had happened here around the pack while he was gone. "Talk"

Before answering anything she rose to her feet, looking at him warmly. Attempting to close the distance she sat by his side to be more comfortable. Slowly she aimed to wrap her paws around his neck. "I missed you...I am glad you are okay." She closed her eyes, hoping to make him know nothing mattered as much as his wellbeing. After some moments she stepped back and looked at his eyes."I am fine, just getting used." Used to the reality, to the loneliness she often felt but as calm as she was she never showed. She just accepted it despite how hard it could be sometimes. "Please tell me, what has been of you?" She felt it was fine to ask about his departure. She was tired of seeing those she loves leaving, leaving her alone. She looked at him in silence, wanting to give him the turn to talk should he want to. |

He welcomed her warm greeting, in fact he was relieved that she gave him such a warm embrace. He had missed his family so much and was upset with himself for getting lost and being gone for so long. He hated that he had missed precious time to learn and grow with his siblings and he planned to make it up as best as he could. Family was everything it was something that became completely clear when he was living with the family of rogues that healed him up. He would gently wrap his paws around her as well just as she told him that she had missed him. "I've missed you too," he said in return before she would gently pull back. He would take a seat as she replied to his question which sounded a bit down and out, but at least she was alive and well. Maybe he could convince her to do some stuff with him, like hunt or explore, or just something! She would then ask about what had happened and his duel gaze looked to her eyes. "Mostly a bunch of bad luck......" he started off. "I had actually seen mom leave and tried to fallow her, ya know curious about where she was going and all. I did really good for the most part, even when she was out of sight I could still fallow her scent. Then it really started to snow enough that I couldn't see and I was getting cold. I managed to find a place to take shelter, but the storm seemed to last for several days. When the storm was done moms trail was gone and I literally did not recognize anything around me." It was just the start of his story but he wanted to be sure she wanted to hear it all. "Talk"
