Almost a year old, the girl was growing quickly - but quietly. So easily she was caught up in her own little world, exploring the endless colors and shapes that life held therein. She had grown a touch distant, but still loved her family something fierce. It seemed like just yesterday, that she and her sister had piled up on their brother and gone out into the world, bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready for adventure. Yet just as it seemed like in a blink they had all grown so much, it seemed like forever since she had seen them. Perhaps she would seek out their exciting yet all too comforting presences. Familiarity was warm, despite how buzzing and yellow Gira was and stern and smooth and deep deep orange Oberon struck her as.

Walking the most familiar territory she would perhaps ever know, she found herself looking for someone - anyone that was a part of Ludicael. She wanted company, and didn't care whether they were quiet or chatty. For the most part she trusted the wolves of this pack. None so far had struck her as alarming or dangerous, even on her most anxious or darkest of days. Idly she wondered how her mother was. Perhaps she was with the dark woman she caught lingering from time to time? She seemed to be close to her mother, but she had never gathered the gall to talk to her directly or ask Jupiter about it. It never really felt like her business.

ooc: Hope this wasn't saved for anyone and you don't mind me shoving Novella in here. She needs to meet some wolves outside of her family.

Novella had certainly got herself into a potentially dangerous habit as of late. Frequently she found herself stepping into the borders of the Ludicael pack to find her sister or her family, eager to spend time with them now. She had yet to actually meet anyone else in the pack, it seemed her visits tended to collide with busy times for the wolves here, or maybe she was simply rather skilled at keeping out of their way. Song of course gave her permission each time, Novella was confident that her sister wasn't about to turn her away and the high rank that she and Cherokee held surely meant no one was about to get into any trouble over these harmless visits.

The problems however was that sooner or later luck had to run out in some form or another. Truth be told there were likely to be fates far worse than this, though the wolf that her eyes set on now was neither her sister, in fact it was a wolf that Novella could confidently state she had never seen in her life. Perhaps she may have been a little more cautious had she not noted the fact that this female certainly seemed younger than herself, was likely to hold no more power than any of Song's pups. Even so, she could tell from her scent that this wolf was part of the pack whereas Novella clearly wasn't.

Despite this, from her few visits, Novella's scent was one that could be found around the lands of the pack now, and certainly mingled with that of her sister. Hopefully that alone was a clue that she wasn't here to cause any trouble for the pack. Having been brought up well though, knew about pack etiquette and knew better than to simply assume that the pack had any idea who she was or that she had been welcomed to visit by Song. "Hello." She greeted calmly. "I'm Novella Destruction, my sister Song is the Borealis I'm just here to see her." She explained before any question could even be asked. She had retained the little knowledge Song had taught her rather well it seemed.

She had expected to find someone that she recognized from a previous pack meeting. But instead she came across someone that was a complete stranger to her. Before she could even get a good look at her, the girl was nearly thrown off kilter by the sharpness that came with her presence, blaring reds that weren't at all like the sunset of colors that represented her family. Immediately the girl was put on edge, stepping back as the other stepped forward. It was a moment of panic, of insecurity because she hadn't expected to come across someone that she hadn't come across before and wasn't a part of her own family. Yet as she listened to the other female's calm voice, she found herself being lulled ever so slightly.

Ananke watched the other carefully, thinking over her words. She was part of hte Destruction family - one that seemed to be bigger than she imagined it. Bigger than her own at the very least, but she had nothing else to really compare it to because she hadn't met many other families in her lifetime. Silvery eyes stared at the other's mismatched ones, and a moment passed by, one of silence in the mangroves, before a tiny smile crept onto the young female's face. "Hi." She said, albeit a bit shyly. Encountering strangers was hard when she wasn't mentally prepared for it. There was still an edge to this woman for no reason whatsoever - it was abscent from her eyes and posture, from her words and tone, and yet the orange cream colored lupine was stuck feeling like she was on the defensive.

"I am Ananke Illiads, one of Jupiter's children." She wondered why the other had given her so much information right off of the bat - it wasn't as if she was in any position to turn her away. Silently she tried to calm herself down, because logically this woman wasn't any sort of trouble. Yet Ananke was never a creature that was ruled solely by logic. "I don't know where Song would be, but I'm sure you'll find her if you look hard enough." The girl's words were staggered, but not stuttered - spoken with proper enunciation even though her nervousness was apparent.

"Want some help?" Two pairs of eyes were surely better than one.

The stranger certainly seemed a little shocked by her presence though couldn't really be blamed for it, it was rather likely to be a little unnerving to find a strange wolf in your home. Now she thought about it, perhaps she had purposefully been kept out of the way during Cherokee's visit to her home, she certainly wouldn't have put it past her elder siblings. For a moment Novella wondered if the orange hued wolf would suddenly turn and leave without another word, but after a short pause the greeting was returned "Hi." If she had been more nervous herself, perhaps even the shy little smile and the simple word would have calmed her, though as it stood the situation was very much in reverse of what one would have expected.

"I am Ananke Illiads, one of Jupiter's children." The introduction continued, the timid wolf starting to find her voice perhaps. Jupiter was the wolf in charge, the Sol from what Song had told her. Novella had no idea what Jupiter was like, nor if she even had any idea that she had been visiting though Ananke certainly would have that knowledge now. Whether her place or not to send Novella away from the lands, the white female still felt the other deserved some sort of explanation, especially now she knew how nervous she apparently was about the encounter.

"I don't know where Song would be, but I'm sure you'll find her if you look hard enough." Novella had an idea as to where she might find her sister, maybe back at the den with Cherokee or the pups, or perhaps wandering around the land working. Ananke was right though, it probably wouldn't be too challenging to locate Song. "Want some help?" Although she felt capable enough to do it alone, the company wasn't unwelcome and besides Ananke seemed rather nice, Novella didn't mind spending a little time with the younger wolf. "Sure, that'd be great." She replied with a smile.

The girl watched the other, not sure whether she should go with her gut and assume that she was dangerous, or attempt to make friends with this female who smelled somewhat of Ludicael lands. She was a member here, wasn't she? Curious despite her initial nervousness, she blinked at the other's mismatched eyes and simple but exotic markings that sat above and below them. The woman was different, and different was something that the young female could easily appreciate. Distracting herself from the sharp lines and alarming colors that stemmed from this female's presence, she was able to somewhat calm herself down.

Which was a good thing to - because she would be absolutely no help finding Song if she was too busy having a panic attack. The girl decided that she liked the other female's smile after she accepted Ananke's help - although really, what were the chances that she really needed it? The other lupine was grown, and probably had a good enough nose on her. Yet Ananke couldn't easily say that she didn't appreciate her company none the less somewhere in there. A conundrum because she didn't trust her, but the young girl seemed to have met her quota for being by herself as of late. "So, you're part of Ludicael aren't you? When'd you join?" She herself had never seen her, but the air headed young thing had probably missed quite a bit of the going ons here in her birth pack...

She felt a bit bad about it - she shouldn't have to wonder who others were or how they were doing. No, she wasn't too motivated to take any sort of rank in the near future, but this was her home and perhaps appreciating it more would do her good. "I should probably pay more attention." The girl said, a bit embarrassed but with a small albeit sheepish smile on her face. Getting distracted was just so easy for her, she couldn't help it most of the time. If only she could explain to other wolves just why she was so easily taken in by small details and even nothing at all.

Different wasn't really a word that Novella would have ever applied to herself. The pale base coat certainly wasn't out of the ordinary, and many of her family had some form of the mismatched eyes or markings around them, in fact it was Ananke who looked rather strange to her, the colourings certainly far more unique compared to the designs of her family that seemed rather plain in comparison. The appearance of the other wolf hadn't lingered for too long upon her mind though, and unless the other was to bring up the topic, Novella was simply happy to remain ignorant of the judgements and simply enjoy the new company.

Had Ananke been older perhaps then there may have been a slightly different attitude, though it was hard to say with the young Novella being quite as daring and confident as she was. Even upon meeting Song without knowing of their relationship she hadn't shown any shy or timid behaviour, in fact it was probably rather accurate to say she'd never shown those tendencies in her life. Perhaps that was why Ananke was quick to simply assume that she was simply a new member to the pack. "So, you're part of Ludicael aren't you? When'd you join? I should probably pay more attention."

As it stood the possibility of joining the pack hadn't actually occurred to the young wolf just yet. All she had ever known was her birth pack and when she had left those borders she certainly hadn't thought she was going to be travelling quite as far as she actually had done. She could probably find her way back, though that adventurous side of her was far from ready to do that just yet, eager to spend time with her sister which of course meant time within this pack. It was her turn to actually hesitate now, thinking upon this new possibility. It was probably a very nice pack, Song had joined and risen through the ranks after all.

"You've not missed anything." Novella confirmed to begin with, perhaps the younger wolf needed to pay more attention, though in this instance there hadn't been anything at all to actually see. "I'm not actually a member, I found Song recently and I wanted to spend some time with her and her family. I honestly hadn't thought about joining before." She explained. The topic was probably one she imagined Symphony would have something to say about, her elder sister perhaps intended for them all, or at the very least simply Novella and Legend to return back to Ahlon. That much she was sure of, though didn't share the information with Ananke.
