So we meet again
Alastor - seasonal

Part of her wondered if there were any more of those abnormally large dire wolves that she and Alastor had come across and murdered the day they met and that was what thad drawn her even further north than she had ventured before. She was curious about the beasts, but even more than that she was eager for a good fight again. Hunting the mountain and tundra dwelling creatures they lived around was fine and good, but sometimes she wanted a challenge, something she could really sink her teeth into that would fight back. She walked side by side with her mate, her dark demon of a man, knowing that he wouldn't want to miss out on a good fight either. He was just as blood thirsty and ruthless as herself - maybe even more so if she was being honest. They fed into each other's darkest desires in the most delightful way and she found herself seeking out these things even more so now that she had him as a constant fixture in her life.
She had found a scent trail similar to the brute they had killed and she began to follow it with Alastor's masterful help, unable to resist brushing her side against his as they walked and occasionally nipping at his ear or neck just to tease him and drive him crazy along the way, a grin playing across her features. Nothing amused her more than riling up her mate and she was just as insatiable around him as she was the day they met - a fact that certainly wouldn't change as they drew ever closer to her first heat since they bound themselves together. It was hard not to think about their future and their possible children every second of every day, but she tried to put it to the back of her mind for now so that they could focus on their hunt, but she had no doubt that they'd have a reprise of their first time together when this was all said and done.

If there was one thing Alastor never passed the chance on, it was a good hunt. There was something to be said about the thrill of the pursuit, the chase, the fight and struggle and the climax of death claiming his prey. That was why when Manea asked him to try and hunt down one of those larger dire wolves with her for a little bit of fun, the manic madman had been all over the idea. He led his mate around the northern tundras until he'd picked up a scent trail of one of the wolves, following it even further north. Of course, Manea didn't make hunting with her easy, not with all the less-than innocent brushing of her side and nipping teeth at his neck and ear. He shot her a wolfish grin at every teasing touch, and more than once he considered abandoning their hunt to feast on a much more delicious type of prey, but he knew the reward that would wait at the end of their hunt would be far better than taking his prize early. If a repeat performance of their first night together lay in store after their dire wolf hunt, it would be well worth the wait.
Coming up north toward the strange ice bridge that had formed a couple of seasons ago, Alastor found the wolf's scent growing stronger. He lifted his head, black eyes peering around the open tundra—and a surprised gasp coming from him when Manea graced the side of his neck with another nibble. He shot her a salacious leer and hungry grin, nipping his jaws back at her. "If you keep that up, I'm going to drop the hunt and fuck you silly right here in the brush," he warned her with playful teasing in his voice as lustful eyes roamed over the svelte form of his beautiful violet galaxy of a fae. He loved how insatiable his wife was for him; she fed his urges and desires, kept the flames burning in his soul, aroused him and riled him up like no other. His Manea was perfect in practically every single way and he loved her more and more deeply with each passing day.
His teasing threat issued, Alastor looked back out over the tundra while playfully batting her rump with his bushy tail. Suddenly, there! Heading towards the ice bridge was the hulking form of one of those giant dire wolves. "Looks like our friends are trying to go home, darling," he commented, giving her his signature toothy smile. "We can't have that now, can we?" Not waiting for her answer, Alastor shot off towards the bridge to intercept the dire wolf. The wolf had already begun to cross, but the flame-kissed brute had no intentions of letting him leave. Alastor charged onto the ice—and immediately slipped and crashed face first onto the slippery ice. The dire wolf turned with a confused look, eyeing the crumpled black wolf with a raised brow.
Scrabbling back to his paws, Alastor snarled and used his claws to grip to the ice for better traction. He lunged for the dire wolf with paws open wide, tackling and gripping the bigger wolf before losing his footing again and sending both brutes tumbling into the icy water below. With a splash, both wolves plunged into the frigid water, kicking and slashing at one another in the murky surf. Alastor managed to kick off of the dire wolf's stomach, propelling himself up to the surface and breaking through with an explosion of cold spray and gasps for air. The dire wolf emerged as well a few feet away, snarling at Alastor and already going for the shore. "What the fuck is wrong with you?! I'm trying to leave!" the dire wolf snapped at the black and red wolf swimming to beat him to the shore. "Exactly! You're not going anywhere!" Alastor retorted, both wolves making it back to the rocky shore at the same time and throwing themselves at one another, snapping jaws at flesh and tumbling about on the ground.

She couldn't get enough of teasing her mate and it made it all the more difficult to keep her attention on their hunt and not take him up on following through with his threat of dropping the hunt to fuck her silly. "Well, that would be such a shame, can't let that happen," she teased with another nip at his jaw, her aqua gaze sparkling with amusement and desire. If they hadn't already found such a promising trail to one of these beasts she might actually drag him off to have her way with him, but she knew the wait would only make it even more sweet when she did get to have her brute. She chuckled when his tail swatted at her rump and then focused his attention back on their hunt, turning her gaze back over the tundra ahead of them as well. Soon one of those massive dire wolves appeared, apparently trying to cross the ice bridge back to whatever it was that waited on the other side. When she glanced at Alastor she saw his toothy grin and knew that he didn't intend on just letting the wolf go peacefully, bringing a similar grin to her own lips. He took off like a bold of black and red lighting toward their target and after chuckling at her silly man she joined him in the hunt.
She skidded to a stop just before she reached the bridge, deciding it was best to not go charging out onto the ice after watching Alastor face plant in his pursuit of the giant wolf. Manea tried her best to hold back the giggles at how silly he looked, but ultimately failed. She watched him get back to his paws and then go lunging at the dire wolf - only to end up pulling them both into the frigid waters alongside the ice bridge. She sighed and shook her head at her mate, though a little worry did creep in over the fact that he was completely submerged for several moments in the icy water. Her gaze was fixed on the spot where the two battling wolves disappeared under the water, not really breathing until her mate reappeared, kicking and spluttering. She gave an exasperated sigh, hiding the immense relief she felt. That was the issue with being in love with such a reckless man - it brought a good amount of worry along with it.
The moment the two hulking wolves made it back to shore, they were immediately at each other's throats, tumbling around on the rocky shore and snapping at one another in an attempt to rip each other apart. Manea sighed softly again and then walked calmly over to the pair, waiting until she spotted the larger dire wolf on the top side of a roll before jumping in and sinking her teeth deep into the back of its neck. She dragged the kicking, screaming wolf off of her mate, pulling it a couple of feet away before pressing her paw hard to its throat with her claws stabbing into its skin - not deep enough to do any serious damage but enough to send a message. "Do you know how lucky you are today?" she asked, a cold, sinister gleam in her clear blue gaze. A smirk pulled at her lips as she went on, saying, "We've killed one of you giant wolves before - fucked on top of his body too." The dire wolf started to try and pull away at that, started to yell and curse them both, but she pressed harder into its throat and let her claws cut a little deeper, making its breathing more strangled and ragged in the process.
"That's what I wanted to do today," she hissed against its ear, a wide grin pulling across her lips at the panic in the one eye she could see. "Luckily for you, my idiot of a husband went and soaked himself to the bone in frigid arctic waters and somehow making sure he doesn't get sick feels a little more important than killing you today." She drug her paw down the length of the dire wolf's neck, leaving a trail of cuts along its skin, watching as it grimaced in pain. She chuckled and dipped her head to swipe her tongue along the cuts, tasting that metallic tang of blood on her tongue before finally lifting her paw and stepping away from the dire wolf's side. "I suggest you leave before I change my mind. Quickly." She watched the beast scramble to its feet and go rushing across the ice bridge, scrambling and slipping the whole way, disappearing into the distance and leaving a trail of blood droplets in its wake. She would have enjoyed killing it more, but watching it run in fear was pretty fun too.
She turned her attention to Alastor then, fixing him with a disapproving gaze before she walked over to him and crushed her lips to his, kissing him hard for a few moments. When she pulled back again she brought her aqua gaze to those deep, obsidian eyes she loved, looking at him with a deep, possessive love that only he could pull from her. "You're mine. I need you. Be more careful." She gave him another quick kiss before giving the ice bridge one last glance before beginning to lead him back up into the threes so that she could get a fire going to warm him up.

The scuffle on the shore had been little more than a flurry of snapping jaws and tumbling bodies. Both Alastor and the larger dire wolf fought and struggled against the other's strength to try and get the upper hand. Although Alastor's muscles ached and shook from the shock of the frigid arctic water, he refused to give in, running on pure adrenaline. He had to kill this wolf, Manea had wanted it so! At some point, then dire wolf ended up on top of him, and while Alastor prepared to swing up to reverse the pin, all of a sudden there was no more weight on top of him. Black eyes blinked around in surprise when he caught sight of a blur of purple dragging the dire wolf away, and then his mate was pinning the wolf to the ground with her paws on his throat.
Alastor rolled back to his paws, rising up in a trembly mess as his body shook and shivered, but he didn't feel the biting cold anymore. He just felt numb and his drenched coat was clinging to his body all over. He stumbled closer to Manea, ears catching her every cold, wicked word she threatened the wolf with while she choked him. Another shiver ran through him, though this one was hot compared to his cold surroundings. Everything Manea said was such a turn on. Gods, his mate was so fucking hot! He listened with alert ears and watched with enrapt eyes while she clawed at the wolf's throat, then licked up the blood she'd drawn. To his chagrin though, she let the wolf go rather than kill it so they could fuck on its corpse like they had done last time. As the dire wolf got up to flee, Alastor lunged for the bleeding wolf, but his muscles protested and he ended up collapsing to the rocky shore again, watching while their prey made it back onto the ice bridge and disappeared from sight.
Huffing his disappointment, Alastor smacked some of the rocks away in frustration. Shadow covered him, and when he looked up again, Manea was standing over him, leering down at him with a disapproving look. He managed to get himself back to his feet just in time to receive her mouth as it crushed to his in a heated kiss. He blinked with surprise, but quickly gave himself to her love, kissing her back until their lips parted. His abyssal eyes flickered open to find her aqua eyes fixing him with a stare of pure possessive love that both adored and chided him for being so reckless. She once more voiced her claim of him, then warned him to be more careful since she needed him. Alastor's heart missed a beat and a sheepish grin found its home on his lips.
"Y-Yes, m-m-my d-darling," he said while trying to keep his teeth from chattering. He returned her quick smooch, then followed her back up towards the trees above the coast, looking back at the curious ice bridge once more. He silently hoped there would still be more of those bigger wolves around. He'd hate to think he spoiled Manea's hopes of repeating their first night together with his stupidity. Walking was difficult with the way his freezing body resisted, but through sheer force of will, he managed to follow right behind his gorgeous galaxy of purple fur.

Manea didn't worry about many things. She pretty much always held the belief that if someone was strong enough to survive in this world then they would and if they weren't then it wasn't meant to be. She was slightly more protective of Nirvana simply because she was still so young and because she was the last remaining piece of her sister, but otherwise she hadn't felt worried about anyone before. However, she also hadn't felt true, deep, passionate love like this before either. So much of her life was hanging on this man, the entire path of her future in this world and the next entwined around him. Her emotional connection to him was enough to make sure he didn't somehow find a way to kill himself in an unimaginably dumb way, but the fact that any of her future children relied on him made his survival critical.
She led him back into the forest they had just been traveling through, finding a small cave set into an outcropping of rock and nodding for him to go in. "Go get out of the wind at least while I build a fire." She went around through the forest near by and collected branches that had fallen, sending Temno and Ciemny out to find smaller twigs and dried grasses to be her kindling. Soon enough she had gathered her supplies and gotten a fire going just outside the cave, laying down beside it and nodding Alastor over to join her. "Come on, you silly brute, come get warm."

Alastor wasn't the kind of wolf to like having someone fuss over him. His entire life had been built on surviving by tribulation and strife. Nobody had helped him or cared for him; all he had attained he had gotten it through sheer willpower, strength, and shed blood. That's why it was so hard for him to just give in and let Manea take care of him like she was doing. He didn't want to appear weak to his new mate or like he was incapable of taking care of himself. As they made their way back into the forest and she nodded for him to take shelter in a nearby cave, he whined softly in protest. He wanted to help her and show he wasn't just a stupid useless reckless idiot. The look she gave him told him it was not up for discussion however, and Alastor slunk into the cave like a scolded puppy.
He sat in the cave trying his best not to shiver as he listened to the wind outside. While it wounded his pride to feel crippled and sidelined, he knew why Manea was being so protective over him. He hadn't taken his vows to her lightly; he knew how important he was in her life and her future plans now. Changing his entire mindset for her though wasn't going to be easy, but it was something he was going to have to do somehow. Shaking his coat a few times to try and rid it of as much water as he could, he saw Manea building a fire at the mouth of the cave, beckoning him over to join her. Black eyes gazed at the beautiful purple fae bathed in orange light from the fire. Alastor's breathing stopped for a beat. He couldn't get over how beautiful she was... Manea had intoxicated him like a narcotic and he never wanted to come down from this high.
Grinning to her, Alastor stepped over to join her by the fire. Not wanting to get her damp or cold from his fur, he lay down around the fire without touching her, though it pained him to do so. He wanted to wrap her up in his embrace, hold her perfect form against his body and bask in the warmth of her and the fire and their love. But for now, that would have to wait. "I think you m-mean your silly brute," he teased back, his teeth no longer chattering as bad, but his body still giving little shivers while it tried to generate any warmth it could to chase the chill from his bones. Peering over at Manea from around the fire, he gave his mate an apologetic smile, a rare feature for the dark brute to wear. "I'm s-sorry, my love. I should have been more c-c-careful. I was only thinking about g-getting that w-wolf for you." He tried to give his best big sad puppy dog eyes to her, making himself look as pitiful as possible to garner her forgiveness.

Despite how much she wanted to be mad at him, when he teased about him being her silly brute he still managed to pull a small grin to her lips and she gave him a roll of her aqua eyes in response. It really was a good thing he was so handsome and charismatic. Otherwise she was pretty sure that he'd be in a constant state of being in trouble. Luckily for him, she was a sucker for those big, obsidian eyes of his and the cute way he pretty much begged for forgiveness as he sweetly apologized and said he would be more careful. She couldn't really fault him for wanting to get what she wanted and knew that if the roles had been reversed she probably would have done everything she could do get whatever it was he wanted. Granted she wouldn't have run out onto a sheet of ice over a frigid ocean and would have maybe approached the issue with a bit more finesse, but she knew how he was and in most areas of their lives she enjoyed how head strong and violet he was in his pursuit of things. Just not right now when he was being threatened with a cold induced illness or hypothermia.
"I forgive you," she told him with a chuckle, shaking her head with a smirk at her ridiculous husband that she loved so deeply. She got up and moved closer to him, not laying against him just to keep herself from getting wet as well, but laying nose to nose with him around the fire. She brushed her muzzle against his and caught his lips in a quick kiss, her paw trailing down his foreleg. "I don't want you to lose that headstrong way about you. I fell for you while you were diving head first into a fight with that first massive wolf we found after all. I just don't want to lose you so soon after making you mine." She knew she hadn't fully explained the ramifications of the ceremony she had done to bind them together, but even without all of those reasons even just their love for one another and the understanding that she was depending on him for all of her future chances at a family was enough to hopefully make it clear why she needed him to be a little more careful with himself.
With the warm fire roaring beside them she hoped that he would dry quickly, but in the mean time she kept leaving small kisses and nibbles around his muzzle and cheeks, a small smile lingering on her lips. They were quiet for a while, but she didn't mind. He completed her. Even just laying here in some godforsaken tundra somewhere in northern Boreas with just a fire to keep them warm made her content as long as she was with him. A small smirk crossed her mind as her thoughts wandered, thinking about the future with him and some things that hadn't been revealed to him yet. She felt like she was slowly peeling back more and more layers about her and her family to him as time went on, but one thing that would come sooner rather than later was currently on her mind.
"So, my demon," she started, breaking the silence and interrupting their little affections as her claws lightly trailed down his leg again. "There is another part of our marriage to consider... a honeymoon or celebration of sorts." Her gaze lingered on his face, curious to see his reactions. "Everyone in my family has done it a little differently, but there's always some kind of sacrifice involved. Some will just have a big hunt or kill something dangerous like a bear... Some will find a wolf to use as a sacrifice." She gave him a curious look, a wicked grin pulling at her lips. "I was thinking we might go south, enjoy some warmer weather for a while, find a little fae to share, and let her be our wedding sacrifice. Does that sound like a good honeymoon to you, handsome?"

Alastor managed a small smile that showed a flash of white teeth when Manea came around to lie next to him, forgiving him with a quick kiss and a brush of her muzzle against his. He was eager to return her affections, running his snoot along the side of her cheek while she ran a paw down his foreleg, leaving a pleasant trail of tingles in her wake. His smile widened to an amused grin and he gave a little trembling laugh when she recalled how she fell for him when he charged headfirst into a fight with a wolf a half foot taller than himself. Of course, he would have done that even if he wasn't showing off for the beautiful fae. It was just fun! But knowing that was what had made Manea fall hard for him just made him feel all the better for his sometimes reckless approach to life. Even still, he knew how important and irreplaceable he had become in Manea's life, and perhaps he should learn to exercise some more caution for her sake.
Thanks to the heat of the fire, Alastor's thick coat began to dry rather quickly. Over time, the shivers left his muscles and his chattering teeth had stilled. She showered him in little affections the entire time, drawing quiet, pleased hums and murrs from the ebony-furred brute who reciprocated in turn with little kisses, licks, and nibbles to her lips, muzzle, and face. It was these little moments that made Alastor realize just how much he loved Manea. It was easy to see how he loved her when they were locked in the throes of passion and lust, or when they were spilling blood and drinking in life from a dying creature, but these peaceful little interludes between it all when there was nothing in the world except for them, that was when Alastor found the solace he had never had in his life. Manea brought it to him, kept the madman stable and balanced him out when he redlined.
He saw his mate's little smirk and gleaming eyes, shooting her a curious look in silence. As if reading his expression like a book, Manea began to speak, revealing another family tradition of hers for them to enjoy together. A honeymoon. Alastor's eyes widened with realization, a pleased grin creeping across his visage. She described how every wolf in her family did it their own way, but every honeymoon had included a sacrifice. From predators to other wolves, everything was an option. Of course, Alastor already knew what he had a predilection for, evidenced by the sinister way his grin twisted with a dark fire burning behind black irises. Her wicked grin brought a wonderful warm pressure deep in his belly, a gnawing lust he had fast become familiar with around her. He loved her ideas, loved her suggestions, and loved the way she played into his likes, lusts, and loves.
"That sounds like a perfect honeymoon to me, beautiful," he replied, leaning closer to bring his nibbling maw up around the edge of her ear, then caressing her cheek with a tender nuzzle, pulling back just enough to gaze deeply into her aqua eyes with excitement in his. "I've always wanted to travel south. And a little fae to christen our new marriage with... I can hear her screams already." A dark chuckle rumbled in his chest, his body shifting a little closer to hers now that he was dry. Gods, did he love her! He couldn't wait to start their planning and honeymoon adventures!

She had never shied away from violence, murder, death, or any variation there of, but she had never found so much pleasure in those things until she found Alastor. The darkest parts of themselves seemed to grow and feed off of one another effortlessly. He brought out this viciousness out in her and made her feel like the most powerful version of herself. He truly felt like the half of her soul that she had been missing and now that they were bound and joined as one she was now free to be entirely herself in every way. She fed his desires and lusts as much as she fed her own. Nothing turned her on more than seeing him in his element, unleashing this ruthless strength onto the world, and knowing that he was hers. Not only that, but knowing that she could dominate this powerful force of a brute to make him bend to her any whim.
Seeing how he grinned in response to her suggestion of how they would spend their honeymoon and christen their marriage told her that he was entirely on board - not that she ever had any doubts. That dark, twisted fire in his obsidian gaze sent little excited, lusting electricity dancing across her skin and it made her want to go put her plan into action right this moment. She gave a rumbling hum when he nuzzled into her cheek and nibbled around her ear, sparking more of that building lust and desire that never really went away between the two of them. When her eyes found his again and he spoke of the fea they would ravage, and how he could already hear her screams... A grin crept across her muzzle before she lifted a paw to grip the back of his head and pull him into a deep, heated kiss, her tongue tangling with his eagerly, purposefully stoking those fires hotter and higher. She wouldn't give into them just yet though. No, she wanted her demon wild and ravenous for what she had planned.
After a few moments of kissing him like this she left him go, giving him a teasing, tempting glance as she got to her paws. "Why wait then?" she questioned as she kicked some snow onto the fire to stifle it with just a whip of smoke left behind. "Lets go find you a little fae to rip apart, my demon," she teased, flicking his nose with her tail as she began to walk away, leading him off toward the southern lands of Boreas. She was ready to unleash the Mendacium family on the rest of these lands.

As he spoke, Alastor saw the look of dark love and fiery lust gleaming in Manea's aqua eyes, growing hotter and brighter with every word. He saw her grin at him, then the next thing he knew her feline paw was gripping the back of his head and pulling his mouth to hers in a deep, passionate kiss. He murred against her lips for a second before their wrestling tongues silenced him. He loved when she did that to him, it was so fucking hot! Alastor had always been a dominant and domineering force in his world, large in stature and in presence and able to impost his power and will on others at his behest. Manea was the only wolf to ever subjugate him, take control of him, and in some cases even make him submit to her. She possessed him like no other and like no other ever would. He kissed her back with all the sinful fire and lust she gave him, feeling tensions growing in his belly and between his thighs, ready to pounce on his mate like a horny yearling.
Unfortunately for him, no sooner had their kiss broken than Manea was getting to her paws, the glance she shot him teasing him in all the best and worst ways possible. He gazed up at her in surprise, eyes narrowing while he glared playfully at her once he realized she wasn't going to let him fuck her, leaving him aroused and with no outlet. Perhaps this was his punishment for being reckless with the dire wolf. Oh well, they'd have plenty of chances to make up for that on their honeymoon! Manea suggested they get right to it and Alastor was loathe to disagree. He got to his feet while she smothered the fire, a lecherous growl rumbling in the dire demon's chest when his little galaxy flicked her tail against his nose, so close he could smell her. Her words made his toes curl and muscles tense, already anticipating sinking both fangs and other parts of himself into the struggling, screaming fae they victimized.
"I'm right behind you, my queen," he replied, hurrying up behind her to place a teasing nip of sharp fangs against her ass before moving to walk alongside her southbound for warmer climates. She wasn't the only one who could tease, and if she was going to keep him pent up all the way south, he was more than happy to play that game with her. Grinning like a madman, Alastor followed Manea into new and uncharted lands.
