Ulmaria trotted along the banks of the river, looking for something to do. She was only half interested in gathering plants today and was more interested in sparring some one. She wasn't quite sure where all her siblings were. Probably off doing other things or maybe some of them were back at the temporary den site sleeping. She moved a little ways in from the shore to a flatter, grassier area then tipped back her head and yelled. "Heeyyyy! Does anyone want to spar meeeee?" Maybe with luck one of her siblings nearby would hear and she could practice more. After all, there was still a badger she needed to settle a score with.

"Kore Regni"
Kore is bored, sitting in the grass new the shore of the river, playing lifeguard for Kal and Ao. His mind is wandering when he hears the call for someone to spar and his purple dipped ears shoot up. Quickly getting to his paws, the galaxy boys yells over his shoulder, “Be safe! Kal be sure to keep the shore in sight!” With that, large paws race toward the challenger’s position, galloping up the distance with the eagerness of youth. Ulmaria’s nebula painted coat comes into view and Kore skids to a stop within the flattened grass arena. Kore barks out happily, “I’ll fight you!” and, with a mischievous smile on his lips, the boy closes the short distance between them opening his jaws wide in an attempt to bite her legs or chest.

Ulmaria strained to listen, searching eagerly for someone to answer her call. She didn't have to wait long before Kore came racing across the sand, shouting out that he'd fight her. Yay! He moved right into the attack giving her minimal time to set her defenses. Which wasn't really a big deal as all she knew to do was floof up her fur and pin her ears. She bounced to her left as Kore's teeth snagged the fur on the outside of her right shoulder. She reached out and tried to nip his thigh. Nothing serious, she just wanted to be able to tell her dad she scored a hit. And of course to practice for the day she ripped that badger to pieces.

Ulmaria is quick to set her defenses as Kore lunges toward her eagerly. He feels his teeth snag her shoulder and the purple quickly pinches before letting go. His goal is to make the area smart for a moment but not leave any lasting damage. While his attention is on his own attack, the galaxy pup misses her reaching out toward him. Pain flares for a moment as she scores a nip and Kore retreats a few steps to regroup. Happily, Kore calls out, “Good hit!”. The galaxy-clad boy believes in encouraging his siblings and he is genuinely proud of his sister for getting in such a good shot.

Flashing a smile, Kore quickly dashes back into the fray. This time, he attacks her head on and, when he is within range, the excited boy raises his front end off the ground. He attempts to get leverage over Ulmaria in the hopes that he can use his body weight to knock his sister off balance. At the same time, his jaws open wide and aim for her scruff, hoping that, if he can’t pull over with his weight, maybe he can use her scruff to pull her down and pin her.

"Kore Regni"

Ulmaria grinned as she successfully nipped Kore's leg. She grinned, yelling a "thanks" as she twisted around to continue the fight. She did her best to keep her defenses, what few she knew, set but it was hard in the excitement. Her tail wagged rapidly as she ran towards Kore, her head lowering as she prepared for the next attack. He suddenly lifted up, his front legs landing across her shoulders as his teeth dug into her scruff. Oops! She quickly spread her legs a bit more to support the extra weight. She couldn't hold him for long though. Kicking off with her hind legs Ulmaria attempted to launch herself under her brother and tried to nip his belly.
