She had ventured beyond Aerie's lands for the first time since she recovered from her illness. It felt like forever since she had been outside of the lands, let alone her den. For weeks she felt like she'd been on the verge of death, and it was only in the last couple of weeks that she had finally recovered. She decided to check out the neighboring prairie to see what prey she could find if any. Or at the very least, scout out the surrounding lands. Aerie had been incredibly quiet for a while now...since the Long nights if she remembered right. It was possible other packs were looking at them as a weak target, so she wanted to be sure there were no spies lingering around. Namid flew silently in the air, blending in with the fog that appeared to be rolling in across the land. Isra shuffled along by her side, and honestly, Ina was grateful for the pair of them. Without them, she doubted she wouldn't have made it through her illness. Without them, her children likely would've ended up motherless...the thought sent a shiver of dread down her spine, but she had to push herself to not dwell on that anymore. She was here. Still alive and kicking. Trying to do what she could to keep Aerie alive when it seemed everyone else had given up on it... |

The snow was beginning to make him angry. He'd come hoping for some peace and quiet from the weather but all he was getting was more snow/ Not to mention that he couldn't see with Kespie flying ahead the snowy owl blended in with the fog. Eraithus had brought his weapon with him as well. Perhaps he could find someone to have a bit of fun with. Now that his lungs felt better and he had shaken off his small illness. His nose still seemed to work, it didn't take long for another packs scent to fill his nose. At first he was on edge then he realized that when had he ever been so cautious like that. He was a social wolf for the most part finding himself able to ease into most conversations. Yet if he couldn't see this wolf it also edged him. Eraithus stood a few feet away before lowering his head the antlers hanging from his shoulders moving with him.
"Pardon me I didn't mean to interupt you." he stated as Kespie flew down to land on his back. The large bird cooed, having made note of the other avian in the air. Eraithus head tilted to one side. "Some wheather huh? I wonder what it would be like to spar in it." he felt itching for some blood he realized. Perhaps the reason behind his illness had been the lack of wolf's blood. Eraithus smiled as he stood up then trying to make sense of the wolf in front of him. Would they be friendly?

Everything was still and quiet. The fog swirled around her, and it almost felt like it was choking her. She was already on edge due to the lack of visibility, and the apprehension she felt and not being able to see no more than a couple of tail lengths in front of her wasn't helping in the slightest. She remained where she was for a time, though she heard nothing back from Namid yet, so the owl was likely still trying to find something or had gotten lost in the fog as well. Just as she was about to turn back to find her way back out, a voice from the fog caught her off guard. "Pardon me I didn't mean to interrupt you." She whirled back around, straining to see whoever spoke. She couldn't pinpoint exactly where he was just yet, but her heart hammered in her chest from the surprise. WC: 1,034/1,500 |

From the sound of the woman's voice she didn't sound very happy. Not that Eraithus cared too much this was but a stranger. Though he couldn't help but to try to be a gentleman. However, this would test him in this weather. He would have to rely on his sense even when all he could smell was the moisture in the air. Kespie took to the air with a screech as Eraithus lifted his muzzle to smell the air opening his mouth slightly as to reckognize the strangers scent. Within moments he heard her scuffling. His hackles rose, toes firmly pressing into the ground. Narrowing his eyes to slit his ears pulled to lay flat on his skull. Defensively his crooked tail lifted and he waited for a few more moments before a shape bounded from the mist.
She seemed to be coming right for him. Instinctively he turned slightly to his right it was not enough to stop his opponent but he was hoping his antlers would protect him. Feeling her body weight slam into his own he huffed out a breath baring his teeth back in a snarl before he opened his jaws and responded. Her own teeth grabbed hold of flesh on his chest. Blood. he needed it and feeling the small wound on himself almost sent his head into a frenzy. Eraithus aimed forward attempting to bite onto the left side of her neck where it connected with her jaws. He also attempted to shift himself turning his shoulders aiming to catch her in his antler weapon. Still his legs remained stiff he was going purely off how he felt seeing as he could barely see her in all this fog.
