Metal clinked together as she crossed her paw silver shackles sitting just above either forepaw. It was her gift from Glaciem, bindings that showed all who she belonged to, as if the foul scent that now clung to her coat wasn't enough. Her chin rested on the ground, just to the right of her legs. Azalea was surprisingly calm, as the worst of the "storm" had come to pass. Isardis had managed to have his way with her and against everything she stood for her body had enjoyed every moment of him touching her.

They had tied.

Teeth clenched. They had tied.

She didn't feel any change, not yet at least. Perhaps the hump happy lord had ejaculated himself sterile?

Azalea had recently become aware that Isardis has again challenged for liberty, damn persistent he was. He had won. She could only imagine her aunt's horror at having to give away another wolf. Liberty had told her she would give the king hell if he ever got a hold of her. Was she still fighting now? Had she crumpled as Azalea had? She needed to see her friend. She had to.

Standing up she looked around for sign of any Glaciem wolves. It was fairly obvious that she wasn't trying to run away anymore. Tail lifted when she realized the coast was clear, walking at a rushed pace. Her nose worked but she really had no idea where Liberty might be, where they might be keeping her. As she lost sight of her make shift home she moved more urgently. She hadn't exactly become an expert on Glaciem since arriving and didn't know much on the placing of common grounds. Wolves could be waiting just around the next turn.

"Liberty? Liberty?" Her calls were a loud whisper spoken every now and then as she went. Hopefully she would find her friend in one piece.

This was so damn easy. Already she had gotten back under Isardis's skin, and forever she would lay there- or would she? Mind scrambled about as she slithered out from her den, paws kissing the earth in a silent matter. She didn't feel like a prisoner anymore, especially since Isardis had already told her she could begin working her way up the ranks. Was it really this easy? Had she already gotten off punishment though she had dragged two packs into a war? A sneer creased her features as blue eyes scanned her surroundings. There were not Glaciems around at the moment, but for some reason she felt like she wasn't alone. She would stop, head raising high as she waited for someone to come around any corner. Who could it be? She would inhale deeply, but all she could smell was pine trees mixed in with Glaciems. "Liberty? Liberty?" Her head would snap toward her right, eyes pinned on one specific area of the forest. "A-azalea?" She would mutter weakly as her battered friend appeared before her. She wanted to say more but she was speechless. What in the hell was she doing here?

"A-azalea?" Surprise lit those blue eyes as their familiar gazes met. Her tail waved happily, high in the air. The sight of Liberty made her more happy than it should have in a place like this. It symbolized that Chryanthe had lost again but it also gave Azalea an ally in this foreign land.

Liberty looked well, especially compared to Azalea. Hygeine had not been high on her list of to-dos, dirt coated her normally pearly white fur. Amber eyes cast over her grey toned friend. "You look awfully surprised to see me," She said, her tone holding a coolness to it, trying to hit at humor. "I'm sure Gideon told everyone I was here..." Her mind wandered. Had Isardis let the red male go? Had Gideon made it back to Valhalla? Even if he hadn't, had no one noticed her disappearance? Had no one questioned, especially her friends, that Azalea was no where to be found? Then she realized that they had likely suspected her to have gone off on her usually trips around Alacritia. They likely thought nothing of her being gone.

It was clear that her pale eyed friend did not know that she was here, regardless of why she didn't know. "I traded myself. He said he would let Gideon go." There was a hint of denial in her tone.

Eyes looked away from her friend, ashamed of herself. "I thought nothing of it, like always I let myself act first and think later... Liberty, it's winter. He took me." Her voice broke and Azalea whipped her head away from her friend, taking all she had not to turn and flee. She had to face Liberty, had to face the humiliation. It was all due to come to her, might as well start accepting things.

Disbelieve was the only emotion she displayed. Her lips did not twitch, her body did not move, and her eyes never left Azalea. Why. Is. She. Here. She would think as the woman came toward her. Dirt was matted into straggly hair, eyes were hollow, and body looked sucked up. How long had she been here? "You look awfully surprised to see me," She was more than surprised. Never for one moment had she thought Azalea was imprisoned here, she had assumed she was off on her adventures she had told her so much about. Never would she think that Isardis would go so low as to steal her best friend and treat her this way. She would put a stop to this. Bright blue gaze never left her friend as she spoke, and slowly Liberty would soak up every bit of information she could. Ears pinned back when she spoke of Isardis and what he had done. That son of a bitch. She would come forward without hesitation, hoping to reach her neck forward and turn Azalea's gaze back on her with her nose. She needed to know she was alright, at least while with Liberty. "Azalea I'm so sorry." She would say as she pushed into her friends embrace, hoping to wrap her neck around the woman's in the best way she could. (a hug for wolves yes?) She would sigh heavily, the chilled norther air causing her breath the mist. "No matter what happens I will be here for you. I wont let anyone hurt you." She would say as she pulled herself away, eyes dancing in delight as memories popped in her head. Isardis. "Azalea listen to me. Isardis isn't a complete wall, he is breakable. You just need to not fight. We will have our chance. For now stay under the radar, do as you are told, and when Isardis comes around..." She would paused for a moment. "Again, do as you are told. I've already been released as a hunter after speaking with Isardis. Maybe you can do the same?" She would say everything in a mere whisper, one only Azalea would be able to hear at such a close distance. She wouldn't let her friend fall because she still wanted to go home. This was their home now, and she would make sure Azalea saw it that way. Not because she wanted her to imprisoned here, but because she didn't want to see her only friend get hurt.

"Speech."

Azlea's words made her friend's ears fold back. It was obvious that she didn't like what she hearing but her expression was otherwise guarded. As her eyes shifted away, Liberty moved forward, her face appearing beside her own. Nose nudged at her muzzle, bidding her to look back at her.

She did, facing the shame with a held breath. "Azalea I'm so sorry." And then Liberty stepped closer to embrace her. Azalea let the air leave her lungs and could feel and hear her dark shaded pal sigh as well. "No matter what happens I will be here for you. I wont let anyone hurt you." Liberty's tone was a whisper and Azalea relaxed some as she realized that she maybe stood a chance now that she had a friend in Glaciem. In an afterthought kind of way, she thought of Vixe. He was still a friend, wasn't he?

As long as she remained in Glaciem, she could not assume so. Liberty stepped back and Azalea straightened herself out. "Azalea listen to me. Isardis isn't a complete wall, he is breakable. You just need to not fight. We will have our chance. For now stay under the radar, do as you are told, and when Isardis comes around..." She sounded like she knew what she was saying, like maybe she had (if only for even a moment) gotten under Isardis' skin the way he did to others. It was very much believable, after all Isardis had done a lot of damage just to get the blue-eyed beauty.

"Again, do as you are told. I've already been released as a hunter after speaking with Isardis. Maybe you can do the same?" Liberty was granting her strength, confidence. Two things she could not find in herself on her own. She was not a wolf born to stand alone, she needed companionship. She needed allies. A lone wolf she would never be.

Azalea nodded, a spark igniting in her worn gaze. "Okay. I can do that. I-I don't want to say I'm happy you're here, but thank you." She smiled, probably for the first time since arriving here.

Finally after what seemed like an eternity, her friend would speak. It was brief, but it was better than nothing. She could feel some of the edge slipping away, but she knew that Azalea would never be completely comfortable until she was back at home. Unlike Liberty. Though the ivory lord had done terrible things to claim her she wasn't terrified that she was in Glaciem. After all, she did want to be a queen, and who better to serve than a man with an army? She had big plans in life, while Azalea just wanted to be free to do as she wished. That was one of the many things that she envyed about Azalea. The gal was such a free spirit, while she was hellbent on making something of herself for all to see. "Now, enough talk of the ivory snake. Let's get you cleaned up." Her voice would raise from a whisper to a normal tone. She didn't want to keep whispering and seem suspicious to any lurking Glaciems. Besides, she wasn't a prisoner anymore anyways, so she had no reason to hide anything. Well, besides her plans. "I'm not sure what water sources Glaciem has, but we can either look for ourselves, or ask someone- but I doubt you want any of them around, and neither do I. They still leave a bitter taste in my mouth." Lips would crease into a smirk as her head swung from left to right. There had to be some sort of water source here right? But what if it was frozen over? Eyes glanced down to the icy slush below them. They were so far north and winter was approaching fast. The weather already was too cold for her liking. What would it be like within the next month when the temperatures dropped again? "It's already so cold here I wonder if anything isn't frozen over." She would mutter just loud enough for Azalea to hear.
