Duck, Duck, Goose

There was something strange going on here, but she wasn't sure why. At first, she had been afraid the long nights would come back, but this wasn't it. This was something different, and it intrigued her. Perhaps it would intrigue the younger members of the band as well, and even the adults should they choose to participate. The elder Elementas walked across the valley as she headed towards the river that cut through it. But instead of the usual summer scenery, it was like everything had been draped in the colors of autumn. The grass had browned, and whatever trees dotted the valley had turned orange and yellow as their leaves fell. It was interesting, to say the least. The breeze was cool and pleasant, a perfect setting for what she had planned today. She was going to try and gather the younger members for a game. She didn't know how much they had all interacted with each other, but whether or not they did, today they would. She paused a few feet from the river, tipping her head back and calling for the yearlings of the Band.
