It didn't take much to convince her brother to leave Elysium for a while. All Scylla had to do was ask and bat her lashes and her giant sibling was in step beside her. Out of pack lands they went, their pace leisurely. They stopped here and there to look at whatever caught their eye, but there was no set destination in mind. Scylla just wanted to spend time with Albion like they used to when they were pups. Just the two of them against the world.
The winter months were cold, but they had both put on thick coats to combat that. Scylla's pelt had never been so thick and lush. It helped today as a chill breeze blew in off of the water that she could smell in the distance. Up above the evening sky was grey and she could hear the rumble of thunder. Snow thunder? The small woman cast a worried look towards her brother, eyes then moving to scan the area for some sort of quick shelter. Enhanced night vision helped tremendously in such a situation and soon Scylla located a little cave that was more of a dugout in the rocks than anything. They'd both be able to fit inside comfortably. "This way," she told him, moving in the direction of the cave. They barely made it inside before sleet began clattering loudly on the ground outside.
Scylla curled up against Albion's side, pulling her long tail around her body much like a fox might. She rested her chin on one of his ivory forelegs and watched the storm outside. The onslaught shifted back and forth from rain to hail and already the buildup of ice on the land was obvious. It was too loud to hear one another speak, so they lay there in silence, waiting out the storm. Gradually it began to taper off then abruptly stopped, leaving the world in a very loud silence. Scylla raised her head, looking up at her brother before looking outside once more. She just opened her mouth to speak when the remnants of the storm clouds parted. Clean, bright moonlight filtered down on the ice covered land. Everything was covered in a crystalline blanket that sparkled like diamonds in the white light of the moon. "Well that's just... incredibly beautiful." Normally she wasn't subject to such female thoughts, but one couldn't deny how lovely and magical the ice covered cliffs looked.
Scylla should be seen as a very adult character who will indulge in acts that others may find graphic and uncomfortable. Steer clear if you don't like this sort of thing.

There wouldn’t be a day that Albion would deny his sister much of anything, a simple request and he followed her eastward and out of Elysium’s lands. Scylla was vague at best to the purpose or destination of their adventure, but that didn’t cause him to hesitate either. There had been too much time between the last time they had spent any time alone together. Forgetting their young childhood would never be a real possibility, not after they had suffered through the sickness of the long night together. Surviving the sickness had bound them together forever.
The journey was easy, neither wolf really keeping a heavy pace, they meandered over the eastern lands, traveling easy in the winter weather. Living so close to the North had changed the both of them, Albion’s sleek fur had filled out considerably. He was thankful for it as a freezing gust blew over the lands. With a glance to Scylla they were forced to bring their eyes to the sky. A great storm system was right on the heels of the sudden cold.
He didn’t think twice to follow her as she caught his attention and took them towards an overhang. Much like his sister, Albion had gained a blessing of enhanced sight after their trials during the glowing sickness. This would have to do with the time they had left. He barely got his hind end under the stone before the frozen precipitation began to fall behind them. Albion took a moment to watch the fierce weather, quickly realizing he wouldn’t be able to speak much with how loud and angry every collision with the earth was. Eventually he settled down with Scylla beside him. Huddling together and keeping each other warm as the storm raged. She put her head on his leg and despite the chaos beyond, he felt at peace there.
Then, as quickly as the storm had blown in, the storm disappeared. With only a few lingering pings and crashes silence suddenly overtook their senses. It was an experience that would not be easily recreated. As his sense of hearing was stunned so too would his sight as the light of the moon flooded the valley. It made the thick covering of ice instantly turned to brilliant diamond. Albion lost his breath the scene was so sudden and stunning, just as Scylla was taken aback at the scene before them.
She took the words right out of his mouth. This was a natural beauty meant just for them, while dangerous in its own right it felt like it belonged. Unlike the unnatural glow that had once taken over their world. Like juxtaposing their rough start in life to the heights that they had and could achieve. "Incredible,” He whispered back in awe as he lifted his form. Using his sharp claws to grip the sheer sheet of ice that covered every surface in refracted moonlight. He looked back to Scylla, inviting her out onto the surreal dancefloor.

Both Kleins had been graced with different sorts of fancy toes. Albion's were more useful in this situation. He gripped the icy ground with his retractable claws and Scylla stepped up beside him, staying close in case she slipped. This wasn't like walking across the frozen lake. There were ups and downs and a bloody cliff right in front of them. All of this prompted Scylla to wrap one foreleg around her brother's, using his sure footing to keep herself upright.
Scylla leaned into Albion, her head resting against his shoulder as they looked out over the world that glittered just for them. Then she closed her eyes, reconnecting with her sibling by touch, sound and scent. She absorbed him into herself in a manner, sliding her cheek along his alabaster coat to share their scents; marking him just as she had marked Cerberus and Ruse. They were hers. All three belonged to her and she belonged to them.
"I'm sorry," the blue and cream woman spoke in a soft whisper. "Sorry for leaving you alone and sorry for pretending like it didn't bother me." Scylla squeezed her brother's foreleg more tightly, her eyes still closed. "It was easier to pretend, but I felt every moment. I'm not whole without you." Slowly and with great care, Scylla made her way around front of the giant brute and seated herself upon the ice covered ground. She looked up at him, her blue and grey eyes meeting his own glassy pools. "I won't leave you again. Can you forgive me?" There was a rare flash of vulnerability on the young woman's face. This wasn't something that she let others see, but her walls were wiped away for Albion.

Albion was heavy and his claws were sharp, they gripped the ice with the weight of him behind it. Scylla could hold him and be assured that he wasn’t going anywhere. There to support her for as long as she needed, he’d always be standing for her. Seeing the aftermath of the storm with her, both through the ice and through the storm that swirled between them while she was gone. He’d missed her, and he felt like he’d been put on his head without her. Forever changed from the youth she had grown up with. He could assuredly assume the same could be said for her. A long time had passed, and so much could happen in a day.
While the beauty around them was breathtaking, he felt himself enjoying having the affection of Scylla again. He leaned over so his lips could brush the top of her head as she rubbed against his shoulder. He sighed and relaxed there on the ice with her, as the moon’s light played upon their forms. Then she was speaking, apologizing and asking forgiveness for the time she had been gone. For acting as though the distance didn’t hurt.
He remained silent for a moment longer as she shifted to his chest, peering up at him as she again asked for pardon. Their eyes meeting as she promised to never leave his side again. "Of course, Scylla.” Mostly, he was relieved more than anything. He hated thinking that she didn’t need him as much as he needed her. He lifted one of his feline like paws to her cheek, "And I’ll be here for you… always.” He promised her as the corners of his lips pulled back.

It seemed as though there were no hard feelings between them, though Scylla knew that he'd been upset during her absence. They were supposed to be together. She couldn't remember it ever being spoken, but it was silently agreed upon between them. Now they'd never have to be apart. Though they were here for an arrangement, Scylla was truly here for her brothers.
A big paw moved up to caress her cheek and the blue fae leaned into it reflexively. He'd kissed the top of her head earlier and the young woman could still feel little tingles between her ears. As Albi made promises, Scylla leaned up and placed a soft kiss on one side of her brother's muzzle. She was... unsure. There was more that the striped fae craved, but she wouldn't ask him. Scylla knew that Albi would give her anything that he could. She wanted him to want it too and wouldn't be sure if that was the case unless he initiated. It was a predicament for sure.
Pulling her muzzle away, Scylla curled her tail tightly around herself then leaned into the thicker fur of Albion's chest, her cheek in his plush pelt. The woman released an exaggerated sigh, her eyes closed. "So what have you been up to while I was gone?" Had he fallen into the role that their father had agreed upon? She certainly hadn't. Saracyn was repugnant. Avacyn was much more agreeable. Scylla gave a little wiggle and kept her cheek against her brother's chest.

Albion knew that Scylla would easily be given his forgiveness, even after so much time and space had lingered between them. They had grown up, and they were both very different individuals now. Life had taken them and pulled them in different directions and they had experienced much different scenarios than each other. Albion could tell from the moment she had arrived back into his life, but here and now in this scenic place he watched as she lowered her walls and opened herself up to him. No barriers, just like when they were young.
Though he was quiet Albion did the same, she could see the raw emotion and the essence of him as he lifted his paw to her cheek and met her sparkling gaze. She reached up to place a soft and innocent kiss on his cheek, and he could feel the tension in her small frame. As if she was still holding something back from him. He didn’t even breathe as her lips caressed his soft muzzle, for a moment time stood still and Albion waited for her next movement. There was a tension that was building between them, but as she pulled away neither would acknowledge it.
The most subtle of sighs fell from his lips as she pulled from his muzzle and curled herself tighter against his chest. The paw that had held her cheek shifted to hold her body closer to his, wrapping her in his embrace as she whispered her curious question. "Trying to keep my word. Living in Elysium has been.. different.” It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great, and part of him would always miss Fenmyre. "I’ve been getting to know Avacyn, but having Cerberus and Ruse has helped with my homesickness.” He explained. "Being betrothed has been an… interesting experience.”
The prince couldn’t deny that he was enjoying getting to know the heiress, while he enjoyed her and how easy the physical side of their relationship was, that didn’t lessen the complications of their future.

The pair stood together and Albion leaned into the sweet kiss that she had placed upon his cheek. There was tension within her, but she pushed it aside, instead listening to her brother as he spoke of his place in Elysium. He was doing his best to keep his word. Scylla's ears slicked back for a moment and her gaze cut to the side, looking anywhere other than the man's pale face. He had stayed and had followed through with their father's plan, but she had not. It wasn't even in Scylla's plans anymore. Word had reached the fae's ears that Saracyn was in love with his sister. More power to him. That left the small, striped woman free as a bird. She wouldn't be second place in anything and that included relationships.
A sigh pulled from Scylla, her chest rising and falling before she finally met Albion's gaze. "You don't have to do any of it, you know. It's all your choice. Fenmyre is no more. There's no promise that needs to be kept." If he liked Avacyn though... that was another thing. But... if what she'd heard about the Elysium siblings was correct, Albion would never come first. That sat wrong with Scylla. She and Albion were better than Avacyn and Saracyn. Fate had simply struck them low for a time.

Finally being by Scylla’s side again created a wholeness within him that he hadn’t quite acknowledged was there. Albion felt it since his sister had departed from his side, but now that she was here and he was whole again, the world looked different. As he spoke about Avacyn and his time here, he could feel Scylla go stiff and watched as her features shifted away from him as he confessed. Albion might have had disputes with their father, but at the end of the day he wanted to make him proud. That included keeping his word and offering himself to Avacyn.
Quite settled between them for a long moment as the shining diamond like ice glittered around them. Albion had always been a quiet man, eager to listen and slow to speak, and his patience was rewarded as Scylla sighed softly before returning her gaze to glass blue eyes. She played the part of devil’s advocate, speaking almost desperately as she told him that there was no real vow to uphold. Staying true to Avacyn had been difficult, but the way she welcomed him into her home and reveled in their intimacy together he had easily been wrapped up in her. Avacyn was a beautiful warrior princess who offered him a place of power at her side. No matter the obstacles, that prize was difficult to let go.
"I know.” He whispered back as he searched her eyes. Uncertain what she wanted to hear from him or what she knew. "But I made a promise to Avacyn. She needs me.” He explained softly, somewhat similar to his words to Saracyn. Avacyn would have to send him away before he left her and broke his vow.
