Vine had stuck pretty close to home her entire life really. She was quite the adventurous spirit, but since her mother's passing it was hard for her to really pick herself back up again. It was a way of life she supposed, she wouldn't be completely immobile by it. She knew she just needed some time to be home with family and grieve. She liked to believe Twig was following her in spirit, and maybe that helped keep her uplifted. Her mother lived a full and happy life, that was something to celebrate.
A paw gently brushed across the flowered feather trinket braided behind her ear before she made her way out of Avalon. She didn't really have a plan for the day, just a little scouting trip in the surrounding lands of Avalon. She had gone to the knolls tons of times, but somehow she had missed this cavern that was just next door to the pack. Easily enough, her curiosity got the best of her and she was tiptoeing inside.
Vine was a rather confident girl. She could be careful, but she definitely didn't think of anything deep and dark in the cave even though that's the way it was turning the farther she stepped inside. It wasn't long before she spotted the glow among the walls and ceiling that more caught her attention, at least she had a destination in mind now.
