He stood, pondering what he was about to do. Would Song think that it was rude? he hoped not. But it was what he wanted to do, he had a passion for it. and he didn't want to put it off any further for fear of annoying people, he knew he was destined to become a teacher. a teacher in the arts of fighting. Either teach, or be a part of the divine guard. she didn't even need to officially give him the position, even if she just said that he could teach the younger ones to spar, but keep him at his original rank, he'd be delighted. He eventually gave in, and he padded over to where Song's den was. He didn't go inside, as that'd be disrespectful, but he stood a few feet away, "Song, you there?" he asked, she probably wouldn't be. She was an alpha after all. He stood and waited, if she was quite close, she'd probably have heard him, as he spoke quite loudly.

The she wolf had settled down for a nap not so very long ago, enough time that she would feel refreshed by the time Magnus' call reached her ears. She had such an odd sleeping schedule that it wasn't much surprise that he caught her during a nap. Slowly her dove like lids would rise from bicolored eyes as her wakefulness increased. A yawn could be heard uttered from sleepy lips as she pushed herself from the cool earth.
She would appear from the den to find Magnus at her door, his white form a comfort to her eyes. A smile would overcome her tired features as she pulled herself out and sat near the man. She needed to make an effort to get to know him better, he was her best friend's husband after all. She would blink back more of the fatigue as another slight yawn overtook her, Good day Magnus, what can i do for you? her tones were sweet and curious as she waited him to let her know.

Anthem Destruction was oblivious to most social norms, and even less aware that his sister's position as leader of the pack made her any higher up than he. For him, he had always been a subordinate, had always needed help and taken orders to the best of his ability from all of his family -- and so while everything had changed for her, very little was different for this man. Song was a beacon of hope and joy for him, though all of his siblings had been and always would be. And the possibility of getting to spend time with her was exciting, and he found himself absently-minded trailing after her scent, knowing she would greet him with nothing but love and care.

Though instead of running directly into Song, he found himself stopping near her den. Dandelion eyes would search the gathering, of Song and another male he did not know. A slight smile would paint his flawlessly gently features, and he would bark a soft greeting to them, ignorant to the fact that he was intruding.

Meeting you was fate - becoming your friend was a choice

but falling in love with you was beyond my control.

A smile crossed his face as Song appeared from her den, she padded out and sat near him. She loooked tired, the she yawned quietly. He had woken her. Oops. "Hello Song, I do apologize if I've awoken you." he smiled and tipped his head in a courteous bow. He then sat down, facing Song. Good day Magnus, what can i do for you? he smiled, she was still kind even though he'd woken her up half-way through her slumber. "Well Song, I came to ask something of you. This will probably sound very rude and pushy. But Song, I want to teach, or defend the pack. Fighting is my passion, and I'd like my job to be something I'm passionate about. Even if you would let me teach or defend, but not get the pack, I would be delighted." he looked to her, the hope evident in his eyes. He was snapped out of his thoughts by a short yip. He turned, there was a man standing there. He smiled, at him and tipped his head to him as well. "Hello there." He smiled at the man. Waiting for him to join them.

Magnus was a sweet wolf, and she was so happy that he had found his other half in Aurora. The two seemed as perfect as she felt with Cherokee, and she was glad to have been a part of them finding each other. She would smile at the man as he apologized her to, when in reality it was her fault for not carrying herself better. "Hello Song, I do apologize if I've awoken you." she would shake her head to let him know that it really was no trouble, she needed to be awake anyway. "Well Song, I came to ask something of you. This will probably sound very rude and pushy. But Song, I want to teach, or defend the pack. Fighting is my passion, and I'd like my job to be something I'm passionate about. Even if you would let me teach or defend, but not get the pack, I would be delighted." Another smile would form on her features. He really was Aurora's other half. Before she could give him an answer another form would find itself in their presence. Her face would light up incredibly as she heard Anthem's bark.
She would whine happily as her attention was momentarily diverted from Magnus and to her brother. She knew he had a difficult time with losing Symphony, much like all of them had, so any time he would seek her out she could do nothing else but offer him comfort and a familiar shoulder to lean on. She would approach him, her bicolored gaze taking him in. She was unsure if she was imagining it or not, but he seemed somewhat thinner, and his fur was not as lustrous. It could have just been the light though. "Hello Anthem!" her voice sounded as though she were greeting an innocent child, "Would you like to meet my friend, Magnus? He's about to become our Philosopher of Self-Defense."the second sentence was more for Magnus' ears than her brothers, but it worked all the same. Sun and ocean hued eyes would look back at the man who had so generously offered his service. It was only fitting that he share the same rank as his wife.

Things had been different since Symphony had left. She had been the one who had largely cared for him -- his best friend in the entire world. And though he had been intensely distraught upon her departure, the sadness would slowly ebb away into normality once again. Anthem would flash a toothy smile at Magnus, and pad closer to the two of them, keen to stay close to Song.

Things seemed better since she was in charger. Just different. The wolves that remained seemed kinder, somehow, but he missed the young one he had met. Ananke. They had walked in the flowers together, showing each other their favorites. he liked Araceli, too, the strange, lanky creature that looked nothing like him. But Symphony had told him once that it was okay to meet other wolves, especially wolves that lived here with him. They would not hurt him.

"What does that do?" he would inquire gently, the words unfamiliar to him. It seemed important, so he directed his gaze to Magnus to see how he felt about it.

His eyes lit up as Song spoke. She was going to allow him the position. A grin spread across his features. Well there would probably be some sort of trial or audition. That he didn't mind. After all, she couldn't just go around, handing out ranks. That would be most unfair. He smiled at Song, "Thank you Song, I will accept any trial or audition you'd like me to complete.". Just then he heard the man enquire about the rank of a Philosopher. He decided to answer. He might as well show some knowledge of the rank he wanted. "Well the philosophers teach people about their respective fields. I wish to teach people how to defend themselves, my wife is the Philosopher for hunting." a kind smile was directed at Anthem before he looked to Song again
