Spring had arrived to the whole continent, but that only made the conditions worse at the island. Valhalla's new home was tropical, but despite the pretty settings and the secure feeling that came with being relocated, Odette was dying. She missed the brisk feel of winter upon her body and paws and the way she could roll in the snow without having to worry about becoming cold. So, she went with her heart's desire and set out for the North. From what she had heard about the North, it was a dangerous place for Adravendis to scout and explore. However, the urge to go and knowledge that her Uncle Syrinx's presence was there soothed Chrysanthe's nerves and gave Odette ease in her decision. Once she crossed the short swimming distance from her home and the shore, she shook all over and proceeded to travel to the great North. Odette made sure to avoid the scents that bound together to form the borders of the current packs. She knew if she approached them too close, one thing that could happen would be someone trying to claim her. She wasn't fit for a fight yet, so she did the cowardly thing and took the back way to where she wanted to go. That day, she was in the mood for sparkles and surprises...Little did she know that was what she was going to get. Her seven-month-old frame came across the Frozen Field. It was an unexpected turn of events, but when she came around the corner of a nearby glacier, she saw the boulders in full view in the sunlight. Red and blue eyes widened and she grinned widely at her discovery. "Holy smokes!" she yelled, her voice echoing throughout the area as she continued forward from where she stood. Odette cautiously walked between the boulders, awestruck by the large structures. She kept a nose out for anything that smelled out of place as she observed the lovely pieces of ice. She could hear the young she-wolf's rambling as her midnight colored form bounded through the cold terrain. Her emerald optics sparkled slightly when she saw the young wolf looking at a glacier. By the way the wolf was standing, it seemed she was awestruck by it's magnificent structure.



Esperanza looked the cold, and the heat and water. She had never seen a glacier before and loved the way it's large frame made you shiver just from the thought of it.



"Wonderful, isn't it?" Esperanza asked the young wolf as she walked up to her with kindness in her voice, not wanting to seem like a threat for she did not wish for a fight.
