Family Matters, Or At Least Thats What Im Told

She had grown up listening to tales of a large almost impossibly close family. One who may all go their separate ways, but ultimately find their way back to the family. Her father had said as much to her, that he was a vagabond, but no matter how far his feet took him he always turned back to his homeland, and somehow his paws always hit in the path of a long lost sibling. Which is not always bad, he said, he met his mate at that time, her mother and without the closeness of the family Kogyn would have never been born.
But that story is not why this little wanderer had found her way to this side of the world, in fact she did not know why, it was the way her paws took her, nothing more. But for what ever reason she feels compelled to stop her travels, her paws content with the direction that they took her. But why? Kogyn knew nothing about this land. Knew no one in this land, or so she thought. Her father and mother never talked about the land they left, they only said that it was full of a family that she was no doubt going to meet one day, and unbeknownst of Kogyn she just may see that family.
The wild child looked out, her pale blue eyes giving the flowing fields a bland look. It was really a shit hole if you asked her. Nothing but flowing grass, so much of it that it came to above her chest and almost blocked her view. She rolled her eyes at the wind, sniffing at the scent markers that plastered the land. Oddly it was a familiar smell, one that she had grown up with. The scent that plastered the place smelled akin to her fathers, but just different enough for her to know that it was not indeed her father, but just someone close in blood.
She looked dazzlingly at her surroundings, what where the odds that she would unknowingly stumble onto the pack of family? She rolled her eyes, knowing that her father had to have made up the story... But if so why had she come to this forsaken place? She could not stand the grass that she could hardly see over let alone walk through, so if not for the fact that she was for what ever reason fallowing her paws to family than why the hell was she here. Kogyn scaled, her eyes looking at her surroundings trying to decide what she was going to do...
