OOC: if you are not a member of Amenti, an Adravendi, or someone swearing immediate fealty to syrinx you will be cast out in a violent manner. This is a warning that Syrinx will attempt castration on males and blinding to females

The lull of the night is enamouring and Syrinx pulls himself atop a piece of the gravel that is his home. Certanly, they had not grown keen to the idea of a life bereft of he, no? This was his domain and they could not forget who it was that started it. A dark simper pulled over his lips and his ears slicked back against his head. He would call to them--his loyalists and his lovers-- and he would make sure that they remembered his name. Any naysayers could be chased from the place with fire and he would hungrily lay in wait as they were devoured by their reckless ambitions. Shoulders rolled and tail erected into the air. His backside eventually finds the dirt below him and his head faces forward calmly. They were being summoned by their king. and their king had an entire agenda of new things to delve through. It was time for him to return power to his corner of the world. To his name. To his sisters. He would pave a path to victory for his daughters and the assassins they had all been bred to be would rise forward and he would make sure their talents were adored.

The one he needed though. Virgil. She was to be his Queen, and her damnation was at his side. After all, she had fought for that and won it.

He is back, and she cannot deny the fluttering her heart makes. Syrinx is her King, and the Secondary has done what she could in his absence. She is a woman now; grown and in her first season, feeling feverish and hormonal, yet controlled as ever. She arrives like a goddess, her posture tall and powerful, her fiery gaze locking upon the Arkhos. ?Syrinx,? she says fondly. Boldly she approaches, perhaps her hormones pushing her to approach so fearlessly. Her tongue seeks to rasp against the flesh of his russet cheek, before she steps back, taking a place which announces her position in the pride yet does not challenge the russet ruler?s authority.

She settles onto her haunches, fitting into the role she has fought for almost perfectly. ?My family will be joining us here,? she tells him vacantly. For now, at the very least. Virgil has affections for the King, but she is not a weak enough woman to tie herself down for them. She is an Empress, a conqueror, and she knows better than any that Olympians do not live under the wills of others. They rise, they claim, and they expand all on their own. Syrinx?s pride would do for now, but in time Virgil would establish them with their own lands, provided one of her kin did not do so before her.

Her father had called. His summon echoed through the tunnels, reverberating in her ears, lifting her from her resting spot. The russet girl moved with quiet grace, following the path to her father. It did not take long for the girl to find the monster, the caves had become her home and therefore easy to navigate. However, a strange woman sat beside him. One she had never met before. Blue and silver pools hardened, narrowing a fraction as she approached. Her gaze would slide from the woman to her father as she pressed her face into his shoulder, a brief show of affection.

"Who is that?" The question would roll off her tongue as she seated herself on the opposite side of her father, awaiting the arrival of her sisters. Her plume curled carefully around herself, the last time she had seen her father, she had told him that she wanted to pursue the field of a medic, to learn to kill not only with her jaws, but with the gifts of mother nature. But she would not fall helpless, she had demanded that she still train as a warrior beside her sisters, carrying on her fathers legacy. The time was coming, time for her to begin.

ooc;; Thread with Virgil is taking place before this, so I'm playing as though she's already a member.

Almost on cue the queen would arrive, nostrils flaring as she searched for the scent of an Olympian. She would find her niece, her matriarch, and approach slowly, following the sounds and scent carefully. Natalya nuzzled Virgil lightly on the side of her neck, before backing away and bowing for a long moment to the large presence at her side, one she could only assume to be the leader of Amenti recently returned. The disgust that boiled within her did not rise to her features, though it was tempting to rip the man's throat from his body before he could reassert his control. Natalya knew that she needed to show respect for the man, but she would not show too much of it. Her pride was too strong for such behavior.

She seated herself away from the third wolf that was present and wrapped her tail gently around her paws, keeping her faux gaze focused on the pair of leaders ahead. Why Virgil had chosen to offer her services to another was beyond Natalya, but she would never openly question the matriarch. As much as she wanted to simply stage a violent coup d'etat, she knew that there had to be something worth respecting in this man for her niece to allow her family to live beneath his rule temporarily. She trusted in the girl's judgment on this matter, despite her youth. After all, she had intelligent parents to model herself after.

What would this king expect from the wolves of Olympus? If it was complete fealty and submission, he would be quite displeased. Her family was simply too strong, too important. It would be interesting to see how the others handled this situation, and what would come of it.

She was missing, Silana was gone. Had he made the wrong choice bringing her here? Had he made a mistake in thinking that she would be content in these caves? Or had the spring taken her away from him, and his sister continued her wandering without him. No words, of course there had been no words, but no warning had been given to him - and he would attempt to rationalize her being gone within his own mind. Blaming himself, this was his fault, and yet no matter how much he knew he had failed it would not bring her back to him.

Slow paw steps would bring him to the meeting area, toward Syrinx, toward the male that he had thought had seen him when he was young, only to realize it had all been untrue. A trick of his imagination, of the light, it was a lie wasn't it? This russet giant did not even know his name. Sullen and dejected, he would seat himself near the back of the crowd, dull mismatched eyes fixated on the ground beneath his feet. He would stand vigilant for a pack he did not understand or care to begin understanding. The only thing that kept him here, was that he had no where else to go.

Poison dripping off my fangs...

D?gmar was waiting patiently by the border when a howl rank out, a mighty call that could only belong to the alpha. Her ears clicked forward. Sounded like a meeting summoning all those that were worthy to attend and was not she? Besides it would be rude of her to linger like a tick at the border of the clans coat waiting to be addressed by one whose attention was rightfully elsewhere.

Standing up the mottle femme rolled her shoulders and stretched before sending out her own howl. A strong, clear note to alert the alpha once more of her presence and to let him know she was coming to him on good terms. D?gmar was not foolish enough to stride directly into any pack's territory.

Picking her way through the forest she came to the gathering that rested outside a large cave. Approaching the gathering she spoke, both to alert their attention and to allow them to connect her voice to the previous howl. Though as she was neither stalking nor slinking she was fairly certain they'd heard her approaching. "I come seeking a pack of strength, where I might find the conditions to bring me to my full potential as a wolf. I am D?gmar Thyre and I am at your service if you will have me."

The alpha would summon and Lel would reluctantly oblige, he cared little and less for authority nor did he particularly care who it was that ruled over him but he would not be leaving, not now that his beloved sister had finally returned to him. A grin spread across ivory features at the thought of the girl, perhaps later tonight he would take her again, his body craving the contours of hers. He was nearly a man grown, hardly a pup anymore though not quite a yearling stuck in a middle world of lust and innocence. He would draw up before the alpha, violet eyes sizing him up.
So he had returned to them then? he seated himself with a huff turning to look for his sister? or mother. The thought of the woman still filled him with some rage. He hoped his prize would join him soon, he could feel the separation like a missing limb, since her return he did not like being gone from her side for too long.

The call from her father would not fall upon blind ears; and with each second that had past the girl would find herself nearing closer towards the territory grounds. The rock beneath her paws would shift with her long strides, her tail remaining vertically in line as it nears inches from the floor. A smile would slip her ebony lips as her gaze would lock onto her father, not paying the least bit of attention towards the new 'queen'. she thought no one would ever be capable in even matching towards her father skills, and it soon processed into the youths mind at just how disappointed she was to how quickly he filled in the secondary place. Her gaze would then lock upon sevan, a snort would be aimed towards the girl, her position and lack of awareness to where she stands completely on show. But never mind that for now, afterall just like her father had said- we are strong as one, but it didnt mean that the dark pearl couldnt think herself greater then the girl who would look so bold. Meinx would come to a sit upon her haunches, further away of course, but yet still in a respectful eye sight for her father to witness. There was no denying that meinx's arrogance and ambitions where only just coming into view. " Sevan, father." For a moment her eyes would look over the secondary and her words would come a little misplaced. " You." She meant no rudeness about it, but the simple fact was she heard no name to join with her title.
Meinx has no nose and heavy scarring on the top of the muzzle. Some tables may not show this.

When Jian heard the alpha's call she didn't hesitate to turn and head to the meeting. She wasn't all that concerned with the pack or its going ons really. But, her mother was here, as far as she knew, and her brother was here, which was the one she was really concerned about. She hadn't left his side for more than a few moments since the day she had returned and he had made it very clear that she wasn't to leave again.

The tri-colored almost-yearling immediately sought out Lel when as soon as she arrived. She quickly padded across the cave floor and brushed her side against his as she sat beside him. She silently hoped their mother would show soon as well, but as long as her dear brother was here she would be fine. She kept her icy gaze on the ground, only occasionally glancing to Lel's paws or briefly around the cave to see who else had arrived.

The russet temptress had followed her niece's scent toward this Amenti she had spoken of and had waited for the perfect time to make her entrance. Suddenly a howl rang out and her ears perked up as she listened from the edge of the territory. Well, now was as good a time as any, right?

Phoebe moved forward confidently, following a faint trail of Virgil's scent toward the meeting the alpha of this pack was apparently calling. Soon enough she laid her eyes on this small gathering of wolves. She briefly sized them up, her silver gaze lingering on the alpha before letting them rest on her golden family member. With a fond grin she padded forward and gave Virgil's cheek an affectionate lick. Matriarch or not, Phoebe was still felt a bit like a proud aunt. "So this is it, huh?" she said with a small smirk before turning and going back to join the general gathering of the pack, sitting back on her haunches with a graceful turn, her tail draping over her paws.

It was going to take some getting used to, living in one place again, but she was sure she would adjust. After all, home is where the family is. Now she merely waited patiently for more of the Olympus blood to arrive while she continued to glance around at her new pack mates.

Syrinx tolerates very little and perhaps that is why thos around him are of a special brand. Conniving and loyal. It's beautiful and yet scary that so many can seek him out and seek to be just like him. A snarl erupts from his throat to silence the whispers that arise around him. There are not many but the loyalty of these is what he will lean in as why e will come to treat as just and right. They are beautiful. They only need the nourishment of their king and his queen. And yet, considering Virgil, she was not to be mistake as his, "those that can not swear fealty to me need leave. I do not want you. I have expanded our empire past this land. If any do not obey the rule of myself or your queen--women will face blinding and men will face castration," the punishment would be easily given and he had a hard time believing the thought of punishment wasn't okay with Virgil. She had her legion and he had his. Together they would be theirs and they would overrun the world with their doings. ?Syrinx had an obscure view of good and evil. In his mind they were no existent they were only--the way things should r and the way they were not. The king stood for a moment longer before his head dipped and his eyes met each of theirs, "if a rank is what you seek you need to bring one recruit and tell me the rank you want. Those that end up with a rank are expected to grow the pack at least one member a season by any means," he then leaves them to their thoughts. Those that needed him would come. Those that did not would leave him be.?

He had been searching, waiting, hoping - that somehow, someway this giant would offer him the same feeling that he had the first time that he had met him. He had claimed both he and his mother - but that had been over a year ago. Now - Aeron was growing, and the titan's demands alone were not enough to keep his loyalty. He was scarce, and he did not acknowledge anyone or anything - not even after calling them all to one place. And so, Aeron would do exactly as he said - he would leave. Without Silana here, and with Spring having arrived and Winter a far cry from his mind, the young male had no reason to stay. Syrinx, in the end, was nothing to him - and there was some disappointment as he turned his back on the wolves of Amenti. They had done nothing for him, but he had returned the sentiment. He was nothing but dead weight here, they would not miss him. Goodbyes were not necessary as he left the Caves of the Past behind - for good.

That was it? Disappointment settled in the pit of her stomach, a frown creasing her russet features. No acknowledgement was given to herself nor her sister, Meinx the only to show. A few words would be spoken and he would vanish, disappearing once more, leaving the pack with nothing. This was not the King that had started this pack, the King that had demanded so much of them and now? Nothing. She would waiver for a moment, rising from her sisters side. She needed time to think. Their father had claimed their greatness, but done nothing with them. A sigh would lift her sides, whooshing from her lungs. With a brief look at her sister, the girl would take her exit. Needing to get away, to think, to decide what she wanted to do with her life. Could she stay? Or did she need to part ways for the time being?

ooc: Edited. Did Syrinx leave or did he just fall silent to let them think?

Poison dripping off my fangs...

D?gmar's tail twitched in irritation as the oh so mighty alpha addressed the pack with a string of words so simple a Neanderthal could understand them. Now, D?gmar wasn't one for long flowery speeches but there was such a thing as being to blunt and to add the words on top of his manner D?gmar was wondering if this pack was a wise choice after all. The pack was small, it needed growing but by any means necessary? Careless. Stealing rogue pups would be fine but from a pack? Amenti was far to small to hold up to war.

Furthermore, by any means necessary also meant pups for the females. D?gmar stifled a growl. What was wrong with the males of Alacritis? Were they honestly so base as to think a fae could only serve her pack through breeding? No this didn't look like it was going to work out either but she was tired of wandering and if she had the qualities to be a leader she'd have challenged right then and there but it was not in her nature. The mottled femme decided she could probably hang about and see how things went but judging from the sour to bored expressions on her packmates faces she was guessing that none of them had been terribly inspired.

Emerald eyes rested on the golden femme. She was a regal looking sort and D?gmar half wondered if she was the alphess. She certainly carried herself like one. But then? it was dangerous to assume. Silence blanketed the group as a couple members turned and left. "Well, that was riveting. Is he always like that?"she thought to herself, a soft musing thought simply twining it's way into the air. Had she come all this way only to fail again? Where was the fire in the heart of this pack? Gracefully, the femme fatale got up to leave. She'd give Amenti a shot but would always keep her ears and eyes open to other opportunities.

Natalya listened with a raised brow, continually surprised by the words coming out of the male's mouth. He disappeared as quickly as he came, leaving everyone in silence. She heard a few rise to leave after a moment, and there was a general feeling of displeasure among those gathered that felt overpowering to her. The melanistic queen was not impressed, and was sure to give to Virgil a pointed look to show it. The male had been gone, supposedly "expanding" the empire, which seemed entirely fruitless since they pack seemed to have so few members. If all of Olympus arrived, the existing citizenry would be overcome by their presence. At least there would be room for their family to grow if Amenti became theirs. Natalya would not be seeking out the king, more comfortable offering a silent acceptance of his terms and being without a rank beneath him than submitting. The less he knew of her, the better.

Now was the time to set out on her mission. Natalya rose from her seated position to offer a silent goodbye to Phoebe. She approached Virgil and offered only a nod, her indication that she was starting the scouting they had agreed upon, before turning to leave. Amenti would fall into ruin soon enough. Olympus would again have its day.
