The male had traveled eastward, searching our potential safe havens for the family he had met briefly upon the battlefield. It was a strange occurrence, to have met so many of his lost family upon the fields of a battle they were witnessing. Today he would trek to a desolate island just off the shores of the main land. He had rested at each of the small islands, luckily the the waters were calm today and it did not take long to get there. He shook out his pelt, freeing it from the waters grasp as he moved up the shores. It was a large island, vast and full of greenery and prey scent. This would surely be a safe haven for his Clan, to start anew and rebuild. The haven where his family could gather and live and rise once again...And Lunatik? If he discovered them, Jinxx was sure his power hungry brother would come after them. But they would band against him as one, and prevail in due time.

The cross marked male flicked an ear, clear and deep blue pools searching the landscape as he sought out a place that could be used for shelter. Farther inland, it seemed there were some rather large mountains, and on the side just above the trees, he could see holes dotting the scape here and there. Caves perhaps? He would have to investigate them, but perhaps...this would be the start to their new beginning.

She seemed to glide from one place to another on silent wings. The silver and black female with the cross on her shoulder did not mind being alone at times. But in this case she had purposely isolated herself from her brothers and sisters. She had fled away from the battlefield when all was said and done. She had to get away, and so the silver seraph had flown off to the island in the still of the black night. It was here upon the island she search for solace, a place to let her emotions, fears, the overwhelming feeling of being torn apart, off falling, of her wings being shredded; loose. She drove herself deep into the island, racing blindly. Her breathing came in ragged gasps before she could no longer make her legs move any farther. She crashed to a heap, curling in on herself. Her sobs racked her body. She didn't know why this was happening, why she felt this way. It could be possibly due to the two pack fighting, their emotions, or being vaguely aware of her family. It had all been too much to take in. She had stood there like an empty shell, just staring.

Perhaps it was the sound of those two females fighting. The ripping and tearing of skin, fur flying, blood being spilled. She had simply shut down completely when it had happened, only able to responded to her siblings in an accordingly fashion so as not to worry them. Night and exhaustion finally lulled her ice blues closed. Her sleep was fitful, full of horrors. She heard screams, smelt blood, the rivers run red with the thick flow of many's life source. Then everything was black, she could see nothing, which was far more frightening. She thrashed around in her sleep. As morning broke her eyes remained closed. She would not wake till morning had full set, and not in a pleasant way. Her muzzle parted in a hair rising scream, high pitched. Her body would lift to a crouched position, eyes opening but not really seeing. Her breathing was labored, swallow as the panic attack seized her. Claws dug into the ground as her head shook from side to side, trying to rid the image only she could see. Eyes streamed with tears, her voice gone from the constant screaming, choked now with the need to get some air. Her nightmare wasn't over yet.

"I'll Pull You From The Darkness, You'll Be Safe & Sound."

A scream of terror. The boy's head jerked up as birds scattered from the trees above him and into the morning sky. Eyes widened with confusion, who was screaming? It was a sound full of terror, something that started his heart into mad drumming. Quickly he rose to his feet, turning every which way to determine the location of the sound. The current voice was unfamiliar, but he would soon find out. Paws worked to carry him across the terrain, ears flattened to his head as the screaming would begin to die down. Was the creature in trouble? He moved quickly, fear filling his gut at the thoughts that he might come across something potentially sickening. What if something was killing the girl? What if that was why she was screaming? Would he be too late?

Bursting through the bushes, he ran full pelt through the trees. Seemingly going deeper and deeper into the landscape that surrounded him. He could hear something, a sound, someone nearby. His own ragged breath and burning lungs seared his chest and throat, until finally he came to a stop. Swallowing back the dryness that had taken over on his tongue, he stared at the familiar form ahead. Quickly, he moved forward until he was at her side. "Angel! Angel calm down!" He cried out, moving in to press himself against the back side of his thrashing sister. He didn't know why she was acting this way, was she hurt? Had something bitten her? He felt panic rise in his chest, fear beginning to claw at him as he tried to calm her. He would press his skull to her neck, curling in on her to press her close to him. "Angel, it's alright. You're safe, I'm here now." He would try to soothe her with his soft voice, hoping she would pull out of whatever invisible enemy had her in its grip.

She let like she was burning in the empty black place. Fur shearing off, skin boiling. But it wasn't her own pain that made her thrash about in her nightmare. She could see the faded images of her family slowly breaking apart, of them dying in a hundred of possible ways. She couldn't see their attacker, just feel his presence there. Her hackles raised at the threat, could feel the pressure of something there at her back. Unknown to her that in the waking world her brother was there. She continued to thrash her body from side to side to rid herself of this attackers presence around her. But slowly her body was growing weaker, only able to just crouch there and shiver. Still now a voice whispered its way to her mind. It wove in on silver threads, a bright ribbon of moonlit silver. It curled its way around her, soothing, warm, safety. She relaxed her body once in it's embrace, wheezing as she tried to catch her breath through her raw throat.

Again she remembered that voice, why was it so familiar? Why couldn't she see the owner of such words spoken to her? Slowly she forced herself to see, to wake up. Ice blues opened just a crack at a time. The scent of family bathed her, comforting. She turned her head to see Jinxx was wrapped around her, nearly making her cry with relief. He wasn't dead but alive and unharmed. But as soon as she realized how it was she tried to clamped down all her emotions. But it was a task to great at the moment. Her emotions too raw, too strong to hide away.Don't..die.. She whispered hoarsely before curling up into him. She would bury her face into his side, feeling safe with her brother. Able to just calm down, to recover. She didn't feel like talk too much. Wasn't even sure she could explain to him what had just happened. Even she wasn't too sure what was wrong with her.
