After the meeting Imena had silently slipped into the shadows and turned away. It took all she had to clamp down her emotions as she watched Leon and Ash. To see everyone happy. Her jaws hurt from bearing down on her teeth to keep from any sound from slipping between her lips. Sky blue eyes grew dark, never looking at anyone in the eye always on her paws or glancing at that empty spot next to her. So as soon as she could leave she had emerged into the shadows and away back to her den.

Paws dragged along the dried earth, tail limp, ears flat against her skull. She walked without really seeing, her body just automatically carrying her back home. Home was what her den used to be. A place she had shared with Cael, a place where dreams had been created and made. Now it stood only as an empty cave much like how she felt inside. A place to scream and cry out her suffering, a place to hide away from the others. But she would not crack till she reach it. Paws stopped right outside the den upon the rocks, still warm from the day even with how late it was. Head lifted up as she stared at her home. It just didn't feel right anymore, nothing did.

The only thing keeping her here was the fact that Valhalla needed her as their Primary Theta. Slowly she blinked as tears rolled down from her eyes. She shouldn't be the only Primary Theta. Where was Cael? Had she done something wrong? Lips pulled back in a silent snarl, legs trembled unable to hold her up anymore. The dark woman crashed to the earth in a strangled gasp and long screams. It was getting to the point she could not bare the pain anymore. Jaws gaped wide only the snap down on her own left foreleg. The physical pain was a relief, her mind focusing on it. But if she lessened her grip the raw and destroying emotions overtook once more. She growled in pain and anger, in sorrow and defeat.

The meeting had been quite fruitful, and he was happy for the pair that had been wedded. He felt sorry for Sephiroth, for he knew that Seraphine would not go easy on the male. Though Sephiroth was trained as an elite mercenary, he knew that if it came down to it he would not let himself get harmed so easily. He wandered through the territory shortly after the meeting, mainly to get away and think about where his other siblings could be. Claire had disappeared, and not too long ago so had Cael. He knew it had to be hard for Imena, and it was on himself as well. It wasn't like his brother to up and leave without any reason or explanation. But alas, just like their younger sister, so had gone his younger brother.

It was then he heard a scream, a cry of someone who could no longer contain what was held inside. He knew only too well what that feeling was like, for he had felt it many times. He would move at a quicker pace, the Digamma worried now more then ever about the woman whom he had grown a liking for around the same time as his brother. He moved briskly through the night, the underbrush gently rustling as he made his way to the location of her den. As he neared, he would scent the metallic tang of blood. And alarm spread through him. Had someone attacked her?! He broke into a run to cover the remaining distance as he barreled into the den. As he came to a halt, he searched the darkness for signs of an attacker, but only scented Imena. "Imena?" Her name rolled off his tongue like a strangers, he had not talked to her in quite a while for she was always with his brother. But he had noticed her by her lonesome for a while now, and he knew that she felt it was her fault that Cael had taken off. "Imena, what are you doing?" He inquired, his voice harsher then he intended as he looked at the wound upon her foreleg.

Imena

She laid there with her jaws having a tight grip upon her foreleg. The pain, a physical pain, one she could treat and heal, one she knew would heal; was a heaven sent gift to her depressed mind. So wrapped up in the wonderment, to small escape she had found she could deal with, she had not noticed Caerul barge in. Her sky blue eyes, that had been so full of life and love with Cael around were now dull and dead. She stared down at her leg, watching the blood trickle around it. She was slightly fascinated with it. The damage to her leg would be obvious to others but not life threatening and any manner. She wanted to do it again and again, then she could go and treat her wounds, providing something for her mind to do. But before she could Caerul's harsh voice made her jump.

Her head snapped up to look at him blankly for a few moments till she seemed to realize who he was. She tried to tuck her leg under her but knew it was far too late. He was more than likely seen it all. Her gaze fell from his face, face contorting in pain once more as her body sober silently. She curled up, wishing he would not see her this way, feared he would call for Erani right away, fear the disappointment in his eyes. A glance was dared as she looked up at him, pleading, begging, she just wanted the pain to all go away.Why...why did he leave me? She croaked out in a hoarse voice. She wanted to run to Caerul and bury herself into him. But what would he think of her now? Seeing her weak and destroying herself?

She seemed broken. And it hurt him to see her this way. Where the hell had his brother disappeared to? How could he do this to her? He sighed as he walked further into the den, stopping beside her as he lowered himself into a sitting position. He saw the blood on the ground, and had seen what she had been doing to herself. He felt disappointed, but at the same time didn't blame her. His brother, her mate, had disappeared without a word and without a trace. So he supposed it was understandable, but not like this. Green eyes looked her over, she didn't seem to be the once vibrant and healthy woman he had known her to be, but now seemed to be a shadow of her former self.

"Imena, why are you doing this to yourself?" He would ask in a low worried tone, reaching forward he nosed her foreleg out from under her. Gently he would lick her wound, hoping that she would calm down enough to allow her mind to clear. To think more rationally. He hated seeing her like this, and he was upset with his brother for making her feel this way. "Imena, this is not the way to handle things...you could have come to me, I said I would be there when you needed a shoulder did I not? Please, stop crying and stop hurting yourself...I'm here."
