Nobody's gonna mess me around

Ian MacKinnon

I'm on the highway to hell

His ears perked up at the slightest noise and his nose twitched at the slightest scent. Ian had become greatly paranoid after noticing the scent change of his alpha which marked that she was with child. He had been vigilant in keeping all loners away from her who might do her harm. That day he had decided upon a break and his voice was soft as he sung a song to himself. He had learned it from a Bard who had once passed through his homelands when he was little more than a pup. The song was about woe, love, loss, pain. Several emotions he seemed to go by on a daily basis. The guardian figure was along the bay as he stared out. More and more wolves seemed to be popping up and they were taken in as brethren. Despite their acceptance, Ian was determined not to let them anywhere near the pups until the could prove themselves.

It was her first time in awhile that she was decided to travel to new lands. Through her family members, she knew she could have always relied on them when she needed guidance...at least, when she asked for it, which was rare. Now the silver coated woman knew that times would be different know that she was in a new land. She didn't have any allies here but with that came no enemies. She would be safe for the time being, as long as she could find some place to stay. She knew, that due to her blindness, she would not be able to provide for herself as well as others might have. Luckily, her other senses were heightened, all due to the fact because she used them more often. While her head moved around every so often, her eyes would not, their path set straight ahead and unseeing. It would be just her luck to run into something that she didn't know was there because of her foolishness.

To her great astonishment, she heard a sound. In particular a voice; a man's voice. Tilting her large head slightly to the side, the Hervok girl started silently towards where the voice was coming from, highly careful of her steps. She did not wish to attract any attention onto herself. What made her all the more uneasy, was the sound of water beneath her. Audrey would not be able to risk plummeting to her death. She did not cherish the thought of having to call out to someone and was still highly hesitant to do so when she knew she could not go anywhere. Clenching her jaw firmly, she relaxed her muscles before calling out to the voice, "Hello....is anywhere here?" No longer could the woman hear the voice of the man that was sure that she had heard, and with great distaste she had come to realize, she was depending on the other male for more than one thing.
